The building itself is huge, thoughtfully organized, and full of natural light, which makes it a great place to spend a few hours exploring. There are so many different ways to enjoy the space. You can grab a book and settle into one of the cozy reading areas, reserve a study room, or stop by the coffee shop. There's also a fantastic kid-friendly area and even fish tanks that add to the calm, relaxing atmosphere. One of my favorite parts is the location right along Boulder Creek. You can step outside and walk the path, enjoy the scenery, and then come back inside to read or work. It feels like the perfect mix of nature, community, and learning. The library also hosts events throughout the year, so there's always something going on. Whether you're visiting Boulder or you live nearby, it's absolutely worth a stop. Great vibes all around.

It's got a good size, and it's probably better known, and more often utilized, for its meeting space and programming than its books. But it's a great community resource.

Even after being expanded this library is far smaller than the main branch and it still shows. The librarians sit in front and their loud voices carry throughout the whole building which makes it very distracting if you are trying to read, study or do homework.

This library is located next to the Erie Community Center. It has a large parking lot. The library…read moreis part of the High Plains Library and because of that you have access to a huge network where you can also request books from that can be delivered at this library for pickup. In addition, they have free wifi. I usually come in with my laptop and connect, although there have been a few times when I needed to use their computers. There is seating through out the library, either in chairs or in tables where you can sit, study or work. You can also reserve some of the smaller closed study/meeting rooms. The library has also movies and music that you can borrow and they host events. When my children were small we used to attend many of their events, including storytime, and small concerts/plays. I do not know what the events look like post pandemic, so check their schedule. At the entrance of the library you can also find many community announcements, and also free puzzles you can borrow or free magazines. Overall it is a nice library, and an excellent experience.
