If you ask people where they've been they never remember the name just the vodka! They also have a jukebox in there, but its usually kept well topped up!

The wine isn't mad expensive, so that is a big plus, and the personnel is sweet. The food is good, but unfortunately people have gotten food poisoning from the place, so we avoid eating there since then. Hopefully the place has gotten better with food hygiene. Safe bet if you don't know where to go.

We shared the Imperial Duck and chicken & prawn pad Thai. The duck was crispy and moist, fresh veggies, hot pancakes and flavorful sauce - perfect! They split the pad Thai into 2 bowls for us, very helpful! I loved the infusion of veggies that brought crunch to each bite and the juicy lime! We would definitely eat here again!

The decor is a bit dark, and moody so suited for evening meals, and a bit of socialising in the bar area. There are some lovely window seats, and booths too. I would recommend that you book for Fridays/Saturdays though as we were told that they get fully booked for food on Fridays and Saturdays. The food was excellent, though fairly pricey. We enjoyed three courses, and couldn't find fault with the food throughout. As the menu did not offer a good range of options for those with dietary requirements, I cannot rate this restaurant 5 stars. However, if you eat meat, and don't have an intolerance to gluten, or dairy, then you'll have plenty of choices. I can recommend the espresso martinis here.

They have a small seating area out the fron which is great especially during the summer. The bar is quite small but as a consequence always feels busy and is conducive to a good atmosphere. At night at the weekends it gets heaving in here, they have a DJ in playing cool modern music. I think its open to 1am. Well worth a visit.

It's only just opened next to it's sister restaurant The Black Rat and pub The Black Boy so you get to take your pick or do all three on a night out. They serve some nice Spanish ham too.

I guess this is the norm in southampton, but only orange have i been asked why im on my own! Like all other places in southampton, its a small venue, mainly funk music which is great if your into just relaxing. I just dont bother with this place or any other place in southampton cant wait when my course finishes in june so i can move back to london where there are more than one cool trendy bars to go to with a more mature crowd.

The bouncers can be a bit weird about the slightest thing. Its also not particularly cheap unless you go on nights with deals on, but that comes with the territory in my opinion, nice for those special nights out and a good warm up bar for Junk on London Road.
