I finally got my wedding license and put a wedding together in two weeks to keep my original 6/20/20 wedding date. Miki and her staff made the planning so much easier. She was the last catering estimate I requested but she was the first to respond. I immediately accepted because her commitment to making my day perfect was evident. She offered great food options at a more than fair price. When I asked her to get to the venue earlier she said absolutely. I was absolutely amazed at the customer service Carnival Catering provided. Miki help coordinate food services for our two events which were less than 24 hours apart. Her staff was so friendly and quick with helping serve at our event. They provided great customer service for four hours non-stop at an event with over 5,000 attendees. On Friday night, Carnival Catering provided appetizers and desserts for 115 people at our Wine Down event. The food was absolutely delicious and set-up and clean-up was so quick and easy. Their dessert was topic of the night! Saturday morning, they came back out as a food vendor for our City's largest event. Over 5,000 attendees came to our event. Her staff were champions in disturbing quick and yummy carnival style food! I definitely would recommend using Carnival Catering for any style event. Big or small. My customer service experience was horrible. I called and asked about having a cotton candy machine at my wedding. The woman on the phone told me about the package they had. She said it would be$400 for the machine and the staff to operate the machine. I told her $400 was out of my price range and asked her if I could just rent the machine. She then told me that would be very dangerous. I told her that other rental companies had the option of just renting the machine. She said she'd do it for $350. I told her that was still out of my price range. I wanted to talk with her about other options but wasn't able to because she dropped the phone on me! I was in the middle of a sentence when she hung up on me #unreal. I didn't even get find out all that comes with the package. If you are looking to rent a cotton candy machine, please don't use this company. They are overpriced and they are rude. You can rent with other companies for below $150. Thank God I found another company, CountyFairFoods. I actually found them on Etsy. They are based in Arlington. They can prepackage the candy for you and put customized labels on the bag! read more

We ordered for some of our customers, who had requested a carnival themed party and Carnival Catering did not disappoint! We worked with Miki to provide food for around 60 guests. They brought circus themed tents, a hot dog cart, had cotton candy and all sorts of goodies. The servers on hand were great and did a lot! My only complaint is that they were 20 minutes late and did not call to let us know, or answer the phone when I called several times to get status. They also did not apologize when they called back to say they were finally onsite. I plan events from out of state so communication is big for me but a happy sales rep wins in the end. read more

Carnival came to my house and did a custom breakfast with custom omelets, assorted breads, juices, coffee, and all of the paper plates, cups and napkins! This was such a wonderful treat for my girls' weekend! The food was delicious and the services was outstanding! I will definitely use them again!! read more

Miki and her team did an amazing job for our event. It was my husband's 50th birthday party and we were supposed to have a pool party, but alas, Texas weather was against us. Jessica and Angelica came and wet everything up, the food was incredible, and they never once complained about the horrid weather (considering we were set up in a breezeway during a thunderstorm!). What can I say...Carnival Catering came through. We had them out to host a taco stand for a party we had with our neighbors recently. There was some concern within our group on our ability to keep our social distance from each other and the team at Carnival Catering were able to put our minds at ease. They had masks, during the whole process and changed their gloves often. They were quick allowing for people to keep their distance in line and their team was polite, attentive and provided great service....not to mention that the food was amazing too! Working with Miki booking the event was probably the easiest I have ever experienced. I wish everything service related was as easy as Miki made it. Carnival Catering was hired by my company for our annual Spring banquet. The staff was professional and friendly, Jason, the manager, was on his game! Our school used this company for a Fall Festival and it was an awful experience. For 100-150 people, they came with a tiny little oven and one person stood there are made pizzas one by one and the other baked them in the tiny oven. The lines were extremely long. People waited for 30-45 minutes, but most left the line out of frustration. They also ran out of both drinks and food. Their staff was also very, very rude. They responded rudely to questions and were often seen on their cell phones instead of taking care of customers. The service was so bad that people were asking for refunds. After the event, the PTA tried to reason with them and sought out a discount for the refunds they had to provide many of their families, but they were met with more rudeness. Instead of taking blame for running out of supplies, they claimed they were using the honors system and blamed our families for being "dishonorable," and taking more than their share. They refused to take responsibility for their lack of organization and planning. They never once apologized for how rude and unprofessional their staff was. Customer service was very poor. I would most definitely not recommend them. read more

Carnival Catering catered a fair with over 500 people and they were WONDERFUL. Miki and staff were easy to work with before and during the event. Our organization works with children in Collin County and Miki was happy to provide any information that we needed and was very understanding of special requests needed when working with children. We could tell that she truly enjoys putting smiles on people's faces with her delicious food, the corn dogs are a must have! With over 500 people, in addition to staff, there was NEVER a line,they are that fast. I would have her cater another event in a heartbeat and hope to work with her again soon! read more

I was a guest at a wedding & reception on May 27th and the food done by Carnival Catering was sub-standard, borderline terrible. It was bland, highly under-seasoned, dried out, and the drinks were from 2-liter bottles. One of the servers was using her hand to stir the rice which is unsanitary. She could have used the serving spoon that she had. I felt sorry for the couple and their wedding guests. Definitely will NOT use them NOR recommend them! read more
