Linda Vista Family Dental team was extremely professional and caring. They talk you through steps so there's no surprises. They had newer technology/tools as well which was quite cool as my old dentist was stuck in the 1980's. All in all had a good experience and left feeling like I was in good hands. At that time, I was asked whether I wanted their appointments to overlap with different hygienists, and I explicitly declined, emphasizing my preference for Alex. Additionally, the appointment reminders received on confirmed these original times. I left work early and took the boys out of school early to bring them to their dental cleaning appointments. Upon arriving at the office after adjusting both my work schedule and the boys' school schedules--I was informed that their appointments had been changed. Both boys were seen simultaneously, and neither was treated by Alex. When I inquired about the change, I was informed that Sara had altered the appointments, assuming it would be more convenient. While I appreciate efforts to accommodate patients, such a change should not have been made without prior consultation. A simple phone call would have resolved this matter, and a note at the time of scheduling could have prevented the miscommunication altogether. I would not recommend this dental facility based off of office experience. We also had a previous issue with charges being added during Covid with no prior notice to us and the charges were not covered by insurance.

It's extremely important that pregnant women get routine cleanings during their pregnancy as they are at increased risk of gum disease. Dr Lee chooses to go against all major guidelines and enforce his own policy denying pregnant women important dental care that they need. I find this to be a red flag, if he's uncomfortable doing a basic cleaning for someone who's pregnant, I wonder if he is truly confident in his skills as a dentist overall.

Dr. Shah is an excellent dentist that is mindful of her patients' time and works quickly but carefully.
