However, as I tried getting in touch with Keith to set something up, he decided to not return calls or communicate in any way. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!! All that had to be done here was communicate and say there was no interest in quoting my job. I would not hire this business based on my experience.

Ive reached out 3 times, finally getting a hold of him today. He let me know he no longer works with "floor zone". This means my floor is still unfixed. Ive reached out via Email, Text, and through website today... lets see what Floor Zone will do. Im just a unsatisfied customer who has been treated terribly and deserves to have his floor fixed.

Now in 2025 after having a structural engineer come in with a reputable general contractor we will have a full report and estimate of repair to reconstruct the deck to make it up to code for the new buyer. A huge open wound has been exposed and Mike Germain has nothing to say for himself. The second photo is directly from the contract we signed and completed with him. We certainly paid and upheld our part of the contract. On a side note, at the time of the construction in 2020 I had completed an egg collection for an IVF cycle a few days before the crew arrived. We also had a close relative with dementia in a memory care unit that was going to be moving into hospice and the work that was being completed by Mike was so she could return home. There were a lot of concerns brought to Mike's attention and he basically deflected, denied, gaslit and pressed forward, and now here we are in 2025. Mike Germain finally responded after multiple requests to address the lack of permits and final inspection on our project as well as the problems coming to light. We requested his contractor's license number and he refused to provide it. This brings into question if he even has one. When he responded he created a very false narrative and explained that we were trying to rush the project to start and accused my wife of asking him to forgo permits. We were not even aware until last week that this situation was a far larger problem than we ever planned or paid for. This is extremely suspect! BEWARE!!!

We spent about $90K on a project with Mike Germain, the owner of West point designs LLC. During the recent sale of our home a structural engineer was called in to review some red flags on the home inspection report specifically regarding the three-story deck that Mike and his team built. I contacted Mike since one of the issues was a lack of permit with the county & assumed we could clear that up quickly with his records. Instead, when Mike (finally after attempts to reach him) called me back, he lied and told me that I asked him not to get permits. Which never happened. Even without permits, the deeper issue is that Mike Germain's team did not adhere to building codes, on a three story deck. Many issues were uncovered, all pointing to a complete disregard for building code in nearly every aspect of the construction. We had repair work done as early as 3 months after this company's work was completed. Had our front deck reinforced, repaired and even replaced some trex decking only 3 years after completion because the work was so poorly done & did not use proper hardware (nails instead of screws etc). We initially agreed to have the company paint our house & stain the new fence they installed but we ended the work relationship with them once the project was complete. I did not want to continue engaging him but after learning these details, I want to make sure others know and look into him further before hiring them!! I only wish I had known that he doesn't not have a license and did not get permits for his work, in order to avoid professional oversight.

I was asked on Monday when they arrived if we could find somewhere to stay or a couple of days. Originally we had planned and discussed us staying in the house. This was a good call to leave. But after a week Clinton texted me to come check out our ceilings as if he was done. We'll they were a mess. Dips in the sheetrock that were unfilled, around the lights were not smooth, our trim around the top of the wall is stained and ruined. Which he told us the messed up trim wasn't his responsibility. Above my cabinets looked terrible too. They tape the fan and ruin it because the tape peeled the stain off of it. He did come back Monday and half fixed the things wrong but they are still not good. They used my Norwex cleaning towel which is a $25 towel for paint clean up (my dog got it out of the trash, destroyed my broom, and they used my Dyson vacuum for clean up and stopped it up to the point we had to take it apart. They used my toilet to the point their feces were all over the bottom of the seat, used my cups that were in the cabinet, used the microwave where I had put stuff to not get messy and did not put it back. Clinton acted like none of this was his problem. I wish I would have never have used CFG Home Remodeling. This was one of the worst decisions and his profile pictures and website picture are not at all reflective of the mess I got from them. Also, after 1 week I have a crack in the sheetrock in the kitchen.

Very smooth and even. Fair price, good work, arrived early to get the job done! I highly recommend Ellis Flooring he will do a great job and is one of the nicest guys I have ever meet. He tells you every thing that he is going to do to the floor and how you should maintain them. Right now, both the condo job and home job are leaking and there is no sign of Sandy or Fairfield Roofing anymore. Probably out of business. Estimates show $6800 of work to add ice/water shield and completely replace a valley on the condo - improperly installed. Do not use these guys, if you can even still find them.
