This range has been updated over the years I have been coming here. The drainage has been improved and cement pads poured for the shooting lanes. There is a pavillion covering a large staging area with a Range Masters tower built above it. There is also a 100 yard rifle platform available. Not having used this section of the range, I do not know what the requirements are to utilize that area of the range. Overall, it is a very nice outdoor range and look forward to using it again.

The rangers are always helpful and incredibly knowledgeable. They've taken the time to help us sight in our scopes and have guided us in better understanding aim, distance, and overall technique. On top of that, they're genuinely funny and personable, which makes the whole experience comfortable and welcoming. It's a bit of a drive for us, but completely worth it especially for FREE range access. It's such an amazing community resource for practice and for enjoying the sport responsibly. The range is well set up with porta potties, handwashing stations, and plenty of parking. The serene woods surrounding the park make it a peaceful place to spend the day. We'll definitely keep coming back and recommending it to friends!

This range also has lanes if you prefer as well as dedicated rifle and shotgun use areas. If you are into skeet, that is here as well. This location is also a United States Practical Shooting Association (USPSA) competition site which are held periodically. The range rental price is average ($20/per person) and they have family plans which definitely ($300 & $400/year plans for 4 daily passes) worth it if you practice often. There is also a very nice pole barn style building that can rented for functions, wedding etc. The main office also has range supplies if so needed. I have the family plan and I will get my monies worth! If you like shooting sports, this is a great place to use.

So far the Absolute worst gun buying experience of my life!…read more I looked online for a gun I wanted to purchase. I found it in stock online at Palmetto State Armory. I went to the store to purchase the firearm. When I got to the store I was informed I had to go back home and purchase the weapon online and have it sent to the store. (not sure why i couldn't just order it through the store, it was their online store) I did just that along with an accessory to go with the firearm. The firearm and the accessory were shipped at 2 different times to different locations so I was charged shipping twice ultimately causing me to pay twice as much for the grips as I could have purchased at the store while I was there. The firearm that I ordered finally came in 10 days later. I went to the store to pick up the firearm to be informed that it had come in damaged and they had already informed the warehouse and had reordered but could not tell me how long it would take to replace.(I understand damage but a phone call would have been nice) I checked back online and noticed that the firearm was no longer in stock online. I asked the associate if they had anything comparable in stock as this item was a gift and already 10 days late, he informed me, they did not. I asked if I could cancel and get a refund and was informed I needed to call customer service when I got back home. After getting online, the store, according to the website, has a firearm that would be acceptable as a substitute. I was willing to go back to the store and purchase the other firearm however I was then told by customer service that I could not get my refund until the store had absorbed the canceled gun in stock. So now I'm out $2000 for who knows how long, the store will not "absorb" this damaged gun into inventory, that would be dumb, so it will have to be shipped back. I've made 3 trips to the store with nothing to show for it and I still have to find a retirement gift and have it personalized. Tim Irish
