I called and made an appointment an in April 2020. As agreed I drop on a Saturday and met Scott for the first time "the owner". I asked him to concentrate on get the engine running right first, and then we would look at some other repairs. Two weeks late after numerous calls, and leaving many messages, he finely returned my call. He suggested rebuilding the carburetor, tuning the engine and providing some missing bolts. I thought it was strange that he want $580 to start especially after it had sitting for two weeks. Unfortunately, I agreed. This time four weeks had go by and I was frustrated, he had not call nor returned my calls. Finely I called and was able to talk to him and asked how it coming along. Scott said the engine was ready to go. I quickly drove over and took it for a ride a found it ran exactly as when I dropped it six weeks prior. I immediately drove over to another shop recommend by a friend to have it inspected. I got a call from the new shop I was told that the carburetor had not been touch, as I had excepted. In addition, many of the bolts had been stripped, apparently trying to get to carburetor. My recommendation would be never pay someone up front and never take it to Test-N-Tune Murrells inlet SC.

Unfortunately, over this time many business changes have occurred. There has been a revolving door of mechanics and some unhinged behavior by another employee. There are some good people still there and I wish them well. Since there are few Indian dealerships in SC, they have enjoyed the local monopoly. But for us, we will travel the extra 45 minutes into NC and buy from Battleship Indian Motorcycle. Buyer beware.

If you…read morewant to be treated like a person instead of just a number, I'd recommend going somewhere else. I understand if a deal can't be made--that's completely fine--but cutting a customer off while they're asking reasonable questions about pricing is unprofessional. Not giving straightforward answers comes across as evasive and deceptive. If there had been transparency from the beginning about the numbers, the trade-in value, and the work done on the bike, this situation likely wouldn't have escalated. A more honest and respectful approach would have gone a long way.
