I would give Carolina Drivetrain, located in Chadbourn, N.C. and its owner a negative 10 stars if I could, this has been the worst business dealing of my entire life. I paid in full for a used rebuilt transmission with installation and a 2 year warranty. The installation was completed and my vehicle was delivered on March 17th., with 2 known transmission issues. The 2 issues were the TCC lockup was not working and the speedometer readings were incorrect. I was told not to worry, that Carolina Drivetrain would fix these issues as soon as the parts came in. I dropped my vehicle off at Carolina Drivetrain to have the 2 repairs made on April 6th. and here it is June 6th. 9 weeks going on 10 weeks later. I was told that because it's warranty work it's low priority, and that they have to search for used/ junkyard parts because new or refurbished parts are too expensive, and it's money out of their pocket. No where in the contract or the warranty did it state that repairs would be low priority, taking two plus months for a 4 hour job, or that repairs would be made using used/ junkyard parts.
