I am surprised how FUN the classes are. I appreciate that Sensei Bryan incorporates character training and life lessons even for our little kids (simple things like taking care of people's things or doing hard things without complaining). He has been a big inspiration to our daughter and our son can't wait until he is big enough to join classes. Mask wearing and good hygiene are practiced - ninjas protect health! From what I saw of the training it didn't seem too particularly strict, but all the participants and the trainers definitely enforced respect and discipline. Upon arrival I actually got to see an earlier class filled with younger kids (seemed like ages 6-10) and they were doing a mix of punches and kicks in sparring gear, and katas. The instructor seemed like a balanced mix of caring, strict instructing, and fun. I also liked that I, as a guest, was greeted very kindly by the primary instructor and the rest of the trainers. It was a refreshing environment to be in. They offer a lot of deals and also do events like birthday parties. If you want a deal, stop by and talk to the staff!

Master Y Kim is an amazing instructor, capturing and keeping the kids attention with fun exercises and learning experiences. He knows every kid by name, seems to genuinely care about their progress and is great at recognizing where kids need extra help. Ms Petra is always there with a smile on her face to greet children and parents alike, and to make sure the kids have the best time. No matter how busy she is, she always makes time to ask how you are doing. The program at Master Chang's blends taekwondo instruction with character building skills and experiences. The staff and class helpers foster an atmosphere of positivity, support, and respect amongst the kids in a fun and engaging way. My child looks forward to every class he goes to, and this is the first activity where he hasn't complained once about going, or asking when it will be over.  We recently also had his birthday party there and it was super fun for all involved, including even the parents who got to participate in the taekwondo lesson, watch a performance from the talented demo team of students from this location, and hold boards while their children broke them with the skills they learned at the party. Parents let us know how much fun their children had and commented on how engaging Master Y Kim was specifically. I highly recommend anyone to try out taekwondo classes at Master Chang's and specifically this location.

Never in our 3 consistent years of premier membership have we been disrespected so much by an orange theory or gym at all as we just were at this orange theory off 12646 Capital Blvd Unit 152 Wake Forest, NC 27587 United States On May 10th, 2023 at 9:30am and some time before there was tremendous construction taking place on the intersection to turn into the complex which caused us to arrive 4 minutes past the class start time. When she was walking in, a girl named Alissa walked outside as she was going to open the door and told her that "it just turned 5 past and we can't let you in". I was completely lost for words thinking to myself why Alissa felt she needed to be such a prick. I understand Orange theory has a 5 minute policy for late arrivals, but are you kidding me?!? Yelp, this is a real review. We drove 30 miles to this orange theory. This was very disrespectful. I find it hard to believe the employees were unaware of the construction. I believe that this was intentional disrespect. Had my fiancée been one of this girls little friends from high school, I am sure that they would have been okay with it. Alissa, you're wack!
