I have an inner ear progressive disease, so I basically went clinically deaf at a young age. So, throughout my lifetime, I've had many hearing aid specialists, audiologists, etc. Therefore, I can confidently say that Dr. Jackson, it's like no other. When my benefits were verified I was covered at 100% no deductible or out of pocket. The billing person told me I had to pay in full then my insurance paid I would get a refund. If insurance pays 100% you don't owe a balance let alone the full amount before insurance is filed. This is wrong in so many ways. Stay away.

Steer Clear - High-Pressure Sales & Overpriced Hearing Aids…read more I was referred to HHC by my PCP for a hearing test due to some minor high-frequency hearing loss. While the staff was courteous, the experience quickly turned into a high-pressure sales pitch -- more like a car dealership than a healthcare provider. Multiple people pushed for the sale, gave little time to consider options, and hyped the product nonstop. Before I knew it, I walked out with a $7,000 pair of Starkey RIC hearing aids. Problems started immediately. The first pair emitted a loud squeal -- twice -- loud enough that my spouse heard it from 20 feet away. They replaced them, but by then, my trust in the product and the process was gone. I returned them. Then came the kicker: they charged a $350 per-ear restocking fee -- $700 gone, just like that. No trial period, no grace, no flexibility. Many reputable providers offer free trials and return policies without restocking fees. Not here. To make matters worse, a Starkey manufacturer rep claimed the pair I received normally retails for $10,000 -- which simply isn't true. You can find the same or better tech elsewhere for thousands less. Bottom line: I won't go back, and I can't recommend Starkey or HHC. There are far better options out there -- more transparent, more patient-focused, and more reasonably priced.

Every time I visit, they get me back quickly, see me quickly (though not too quickly -- ie you can tell they stay busy, but you aren't too rushed). They are well organized, very professional and quite friendly. I'm honestly surprised by the other reviews here. They are a doctor's office, not a Burger King. Relative to my experiences with MANY other doctors and groups, this group does it right. I had a relatively mysterious medical situation going on and I felt like they did an appropriate job of following through until they knew that I was healthy and safe.

Office manager and staff have not one shred of empathy for people who have been through losses…read more They are condescending, and have refused me healthcare multiple times today, and are beyond unprofessional when it comes to medical notes. They didn't explain to me at all why my request was continuously denied, these are women btw, you would think they would have a bit more of an understanding when it comes to pregnancy losses, and pregnant women with autoimmune diseases. Anyways, they lost three patients today. This is honestly the very first issue I have had over here so it's really disappointing. I have no issues with the doctors I have seen, ( Dr Pollard and Dr Jones-Moon, who actually did tell me two different things in the situation) but their female nurses and office manager both have awful bedside manner considering their professions. I and my mother spoke to these women today, and they are super caddy and unprofessional. All I needed today was reassurance and an explanation, and for some reason these two things are not within their capabilities as healthcare professionals.
