Ample gravel lot parking, garage-sized shop where customers pay for rental equipment that also sells any and all accoutrement for your paintball pleasure. There are a few snacks (granola bars, Gatorade, lollipops) available for purchase and if you don't have any cash on you (like most of my friends with me at this visit) the sweet lil ole lady will add it to your tab. There are 6 playing fields available on the property. My group played on 3. The staff (mostly older teens to maybe very early twentysomethings) definitely know how to prepare ppl for a game - rules are repeated over and over again probably because most of the players on this particular day were teenage boys. Before we knew it 4 hours had gone by and we were all out of the ammo included with our rental equipment (mask and gun). Our group of 15 reserved an area for a birthday party and everything went fine. Several of the players had played here before, so I was totally outgunned. Lots of fun and laughter after a game. I thought the check-in, training, and gear set up clunky in need of streamlining. For example, the safety portion could be recorded and a waiver signed when completed. The prohibition and removal of piercings came off moralistic (as was the repetitive preaching against profanity) and less about safety and having a good time. Felt like I was back at church camp only with sniper training. Overall, it was a fun afternoon with a few round bruises as souvenirs for the next two days. Has my "Give 'em a Whirl" meter donning goggles and taking aim. Loads of fun!
