Also each trap worked perfectly with no breakage whatsoever. The Hermitage facility is now under the management of Eric Dorsey and he has new shooting stands on the majority of the courses. Great outdoor shooting range (all guns all calibers) in the Sumter forest, it is 1hr South of the…read moreSc/ NC state line near Carowinds in Carlisle SC, while it's a drive, it's a nice facility especially during the week when it's pretty open...all bays (6 or 7?) are all covered, it is ADA wheelchair accessible, but there are NO bathrooms, NO food or water, NO range master....once you leave the paved road, it's another 1/2 mile down a gravel road into the forest. They are open dusk until dawn 7 days a week, except closed for cleaning Mon & Thurs 8-930a. It is an honor system, you pay $5 a person in a on site envelope system, for the day.......the rangers do periodically check tickets, so don't cheat! They don't mess around, and you will be fined on site.. Also there is a broom and dustpan provided, please clean up after yourself....if you set targets, please take them when you leave....all standard range rules apply for safety.
