I had a leak from one of the pvc pipes which Lou promptly figured out what the problem was, and cleaned out the green algae in the pool as well. By the time he was finished, the leak was fixed and the pool was crystal clear again. We recently moved here to Wilmington, with our new house that came with a pool. Being the first…read morepool that I've ever had, I needed help with getting the pool up to par, learning how to keep up with regular maintenance, and a monthly servicing. Luckily, I found Thornton Pool Service! After calling Rob (founder/owner), he immediately returned my call, showed up within the day, and gave me a detailed assessment THAT MADE SENSE AND DIDN'T CONFUSE ME! On top of that, his prices were very affordable, and reasonable. He got my pool looking and operating like brand new, and educated me on how to maintenance it weekly, which is rare for a service to do; as it's usually in a company's best interest that you're clueless as how to service whatever you need. After a month, I had discovered that the pool was poorly designed. The backwash conduit lead to the drain on the side of the pool. So, whenever I backwashed it, the dirty water would overflow from the drain and dump into the pool. Obviously, I called Thornton Pool Services immediately. His response time was immediate AGAIN! And he came over to assess the issue within the same day. After speaking with the original owner of the house, he said that his pool service recommended that we reroute the conduit from the pump, to the side yard. That would mean that we would have to install it under our concrete, which would cost us over $10k. Rob invented a solution that only cost us $100s! He's an honest, smart, and diligent service. I will never use anyone else's service, going forward!

Thank goodness we found Robert of Thornton Pool Service. Our pool pump had totally blown out 2…read moremonths ago and the other "pool service" kept stringing me along saying they couldn't get a new pool pump because of "supply chain" issues. I decided to look on my own and found Robert on a Tuesday, he gave me a repair quote that day, got the pump by Friday and repaired the pump on Saturday (very early)! He has a fantastic work ethic, is honest and reliable, something I'm finding less and less with the service people around here. If you want a fair price to service or repair your pool with quality, definitely call Thornton Pool Service. I can't say enough good things about this company.
