I told him I needed a yellow bulb for the headlight on my 2017 Volkswagen Jetta. He told me most head lights are white. I said mine are yellow. He said "then it's not a headlight." He walked outside of the store with me only to confirm that it was indeed a headlight. Unfortunately his ego was bruised so he decided to say "that's not called a headlight. That's a head lamp." Headlight is of course correct colloquial English. Most people refer to it as a headlight. Even if the part itself is technically the head lamp and the beam of light is the headlight, most people, including this jerk, know exactly what you mean when you say "headlight." He just chose to double down after being aggressively wrong. I've never had an experience like this at Advanced or Auto Zone. I'll stick with those guys I guess.
