The front office is very friendly and professional as well as the CNA and the doctor. I would recommend their services only. Unfortunately, I am stuck with a $446.09 for blood work I feel was not properly coded and billed. I contacted Medicare and was informed some of the test were not medically necesary. I am confident my Urologist would not order test not covered under Medicare without notifying me first. I have contacted the office manager by phone and also corresponded by mail to the office manager and also billing office to have to re-submit with the proper codes. No one from Carolina Urologist has contacted me regarding the error. I did receive an AI message to call 704.248.0570....called 3 times in two days and left messages no response. I am now paying the bill. Be aware and I recommend to asked questions prior to authorizing any test. read more

Had a polyp removed last week. The doctor came in my room before surgery and ask if I was ready. I ask him about the size of the polyp and he said it was very small. I ask if that was a good sign. His reply was "I dont know , is it". That made me very uneasy. After surgery he never came in my room to let me know how things went and what I should do next. It is now almost a week and I haven't gotten a call on my results. I had to call myself to see if they were in. I ask the nurse if she could tell me and she said the doctor had not signed off on the results that I would have to come in. I'm even wondering if if i would have ever gotten a call if i had not called myself. read more

Wow. I called to make an appointment for my husband and the person on the phone was very rude. I was trying to find a date and time that would work for a consult. After a few options didn't work she got short of the phone and threw out it was the end of the day. Yep. Well, I work too and was trying to fit this in during my working day too. If you don't want new patients and don't want to answer calls up until you are closed then don't answer the phone. We will find somewhere else as I can only imagine how the rest of their patient services are. read more

Beware of Dr. David Wright. He performed lithotripsy on my wife earlier this week. When she woke up in recovery, she was in excruciating pain. I go to the front desk to request something for her pain to find out Dr. Wright had left no orders in such case and left no script for pain once we arrived home. The nurses attempted to find Dr. Wright, but he could not be found or was just not answering his calls. After forty-five minutes and being placed on hold at his office, someone finally picked up. The nurse recommended 10 mg Oxycodone but the office person was told to give my wife only 5 mg which did not touch the pain. After an hour or more I think the nurses finally got a call back from someone. Dilaudid was finally required to ease her pain. Dr. Wright never called my wife, never came to visit her in recovery and no one from Carolina Urology has called to ever check on my wife's condition. From the other reviews I've read about this jerk I recommend highly finding not only another doctor but another practice altogether. read more

No negative stars? Rude surgery scheduler and per her.... Dr didn't care. I needed surgery for kidney stones & she said it would be in February, it's not even mid January. I asked for something sooner or to be referred.... nothing. She was extremely rude and uncaring and conveyed the dr said I was fine. I have a 1 cm stone that didn't break after trying to blast it. Been dealing with for 3 months (pain). Now unable to eat, vomiting several times a day & unable to work. Will NOT be going back to this office. I love Dr. Wright but if my health isn't the staff's priority, I'll find somewhere that makes it a priority. read more

Dr. Wright has no bedside manner. He is cocky and has a giant ego. He cut me off when I was talking and raised his voice at me. Then he refused to call in pain medicine for my kidney stone like he told me he would. Multiple calls to Carolina Urology and Dr. Wright refused to return them and call in my prescription. Dr. Wright sent me for a CT Scan, but didn't fill out the order properly and so the hospital wouldn't do it and insurance wouldn't cover it. He's extremely incompetent. He's a terrible doctor. I've reported him to the Office Manager and can only hope he will be disciplined. Don't go to this office. read more

Only needed one appointment to realize this was not the place for my issue. Everything was going alright until the visit. Dr. Wright was extremely rude, very dismissive, and offered the exact same solution as another reviewer after asking only few one-word questions like: "Sex?" "Pain?" and "How?" suggested it was a kidney stone, after two other doctors had ruled it out. And then suggested a CT scan if not. Unbelievable. If you want a urologist who at least pretends to care about resolving your issue this is not the place. Very disappointed. read more

So disappointed in Dr. Ashima Singal, newest physical at clinic. I transferred to this clinic several months ago as my previous urologist was 1 1/ 2 hours away. All my previous records were sent to Dr. Singal. When we met the first time, she had not even looked at the records. She knew nothing about my previous treatments and problems. I answered tons of questions, showed her my medication list (which was already in the file) and talked about my previous treatments. She wanted to establish her own method of treatment. She scheduled me for several test and examinations. After this was completed, she stated she would look at the results and come up with a plan for my "problems." After 4 weeks of not hearing from her, I called and made an appointment. I went to this appointment today. Dr. Singal treated me today like this was the first time she had ever seen me. She knew nothing about the previous test nor medications I was taking. I asked her if she had looked at my file and she said "She did not take other doctor's word." Probably the most ignorant thing she could say to me. If she can't take the time to read my chart and familiarize herself with the patient she is about to see, I sure do not have the time and money to waste on her. After being asked the same questions as before ( a couple times), I walked out of the office and told her ""She had not done a damn thing for me" after she said she was trying to help me. I will not leave this clinic but I will be requesting a new physician as my doctor. read more

If I could leave less than one star, I absolutely would. I was referred to this office and had trouble getting an appointment. After several days, I called this office and they stated that they never received my information from my referring doctor. I called that office, and they said they had sent over my information days ago. I call Carolina Urology back, and they magically found my information. Dr. Wright was in my room for no more than 4 minutes. My doctor had ruled out kidney stones, yet Dr. Wright referred me to get a CT scan. The imaging center told me it would take 24 hours to get back to the urologist. After 48 hours, I called Carolina Urology and they said they never received my scan. Yet again, I called the imaging center and they told me they had already sent it. When I call the urologist back, I was presented with the worst customer service I've ever received. I had to call three times to actually talk to someone, and when I did, I started explaining the situation and the on-duty nurse interrupts me and says, "Well if you'd hold on and let me finish.." I was flabbergasted. I was just explaining why I was calling and she acted like I knew that she knew what was going on with me and why I was calling. She continued to interrupt me while I was talking and when I asked if they'd received my CT, she said "that name doesn't ring a bell." Once again, flabbergasted. And once again, I get a call the next day saying they magically found my scan. It took another week for Dr. Wright to call me with my results. He left a voicemail saying what my last doctor had already told me and never invited me to come back to figure out why I've been having pain for over a year now. If you can go somewhere else for a urologist, DO!! This was the most horrible experience I've ever had with a doctor's office. read more
