My dad, a contractor, has known Thomas for many years and connected me with him to assist with a very special project to me -- I was looking for a piece to replace a marble table top that broke during a move. This table is so meaningful to me; it was a wedding gift to my great grandparents, and I was devastated when the marble broke. Thomas and his team not only helped me find a beautiful piece to replace it, but also cut the salvaged broken marble into four hot/cold plates, three of which I gifted to family. I chose the quartzite countertop and paid a premium price. The countertop was gorgeous. However, the installers cracked and chipped my expensive--brand new countertop. I was told the material was super durable! The countertop was damaged from day one. When I called and spoke with a rep I was told "that is not suppose to happen." Now the company is only willing to repair the damaged countertop which their installers damaged boring the hole for the hardware! I am not satisfied with their response. On top of that--their contractor that installed my tile backsplash damaged my kitchen walls. They tried to deny it telling Carolina Stone that the damage was already there. They are the one who put tape on the wall then carelessly ripped it off leaving damage which will need significant repair! This is unacceptable from a place of business to treat their customer so poorly! read more

Just did our third project with these folks and are simply thrilled. Professional, great service, very reasonable price and solid workmanship. We had a small kitchen and master to do. We used in stock slabs (which are gorgeous!) and Andre got the job done for us in a week. Highly recommend them for any project large or small ( they work with remnants too!!). Look ma!! If you want a great deal and great customer service, go see Carlos. He was able to find is remnants for a home renovation for 2.5 baths at very reasonable prices. The home went over budget a bit, but Carlos worked with us to find some beautiful quartz remnants at reasonable prices. Altogether, we were at around $2400 installed for two bathrooms with double vanities and the one single vanity. That included sinks and removal. It does not include drain or faucet install, similar to most other installers, so remember to schedule a plumber if you can't do that yourself. I will only go to Carlos for any countertops going forward. I'll try to post pictures once renovations are complete. read more

I called this company once deciding to have my counters replaced. The man I spoke with was very nice, told me to take some measurements and come on it to pick out my stone. I went in the next day and picked out the stone. I provided a drawing, photos and measurements of my kitchen. They gave me a cash price and I paid in full that day (which they signed off on saying paid in full). Someone came out on a Wednesday to do the template and within 2 hours I got a call saying there was a discrepancy of approximately 2-3 sq ft. He offered to meet half way on the price difference and I told him I'd get back to him once I talked with my husband, I responded the very next morning but didn't get a call until almost the end of the day where my sales guy told me that Andre read him the riot act and that they are not willing to meet halfway and the job was canceled. I was instructed to come pick up my refund. They didn't feel this job was worth their time and that showed with Andres attitude from day 1!! Don't let them fool you. There are companies out there that will value you and not dismiss you. Thankfully I found another company offering the same product for an even better price and prompt installation. read more

Andre at Carolina Stone is one of a kind. He treats his customers as if they were family. He is very responsive and works with perfection. We had a uncommon stain occur on our granite and the same day I called for advice, he sent one of his men 45 minutes to our home to help fix the issue. Andre runs his business professionally and takes excellent care of his customers! We have only had the granite installed in our home for a short while and we have already gotten so many compliments on the edging, seems, and look of our granite! We just had granite countertops installed by Carolina's Stone, Marble & Granite today, and I have been so pleased with the product and service from this company. They have a great selection of granite at their shop, and the owner took a lot of time helping me choose a slab for my kitchen. He had plenty of samples of tile and cabinet doors on hand, so I could see what the slab would look like in my kitchen with a backsplash and painted cabinets. The countertops were installed less than a week after I first visited the store. The installers were polite, professional and fast. The price was also well under what I had estimated I would pay for granite countertops. I would highly recommend this company. read more

Andre and his company Carolina's Stone Marble and Granite are as good as it gets in the stone business. Before finding his business I visited three other shops, one was booked up over three weeks to just come and do a template, one the salesperson was suppose to call me back, and third actually made appointments with and they never showed. Andre was good as his word, I went there on Wednesday, they came Friday morning to make the template, and came back Tuesday afternoon and installed the job. If you are in the market for stone, I don't think you could do any better than Carolina's Stone, they are people of their word. read more

We had been recently referred to this company as we were preparing to install new countertops in our home. We were initially impressed with their knowledge of the different stones, and the personnel at the business site (Andre Campos, his wife, Pamela and Thomas Bates) went out of their way to advise us on the different services that they offered...In every case they demonstrated excellent customer service and took the time to answer our questions and calm our fears. We booked them to do the install and in retrospect, are extremely glad that we did. From Giovanni, who did the measurements for the template to Luiz and his dad who did the install, they were very professional, and did the job beyond our expectations. After the install, we needed Backsplash work and again Andre booked a tile installer who did an outstanding job. The installer, Andre Oliveira( H & M tile service, llc.) and his partner Pablo, took the time to enhance the look of our kitchen and did their job well...We are extremely pleased with our entire experience with Carolinas Stone and would recommend them in a heart beat! read more
