I hired Caroline's Cleaning for a deep clean of my home, and unfortunately, the service didn't meet expectations--especially at the $550 price point. While the team (2 men) was very friendly and respectful (which I appreciated), the actual cleaning fell short in several key areas: - Cabinets weren't wiped down at all. - The floor still had crumbs and marks--particularly near the dining table & entry--so the mopping seemed more like a light wipe. - Dust was still visible on chair backs and on shelves where objects weren't moved. - The microwave had smudges and wasn't cleaned fully. - Some baseboards were wiped, but others clearly weren't. For a basic clean, this might have been acceptable--but this was supposed to be a deep clean. At this price, I expected a more thorough and detail-oriented job. I want to emphasize: the people were kind and professional. But when you pay a premium for a deep clean, it's fair to expect professional-level results across the board. Asked for a deep-cleaning of my 600 square-foot apartment, minus two bedrooms after an impressively unclean roommate moved out after five years. Will list some pros and cons below. Pros: - Mia (or Meah perhaps) and Sebastian were very professional, kind, and understanding (even with a difficult parking situation required from my apartment, which I compensated them for). They communicated clearly and were punctual - Shower, sinks, toilets, fridge (extra), and oven (extra) were phenomenally done. I could not have been more pleased with them! - Cabinets, entertainment system, etc., were dusted extremely thoroughly Cons: - Wall scrubbing was not a part of the service. I asked if they could do it and they replied that they could not. That was all right with me, but I wish Caroline had notified me of that before (especially since I mentioned walls in my initial message). - Bath mats were not cleaned, but rather folded and placed to the side when floor cleaning took place - Floors were not clean enough to walk on barefoot without leaving lots of black/yellow residue behind All this being said, I understand that the task at hand was pretty immense, since my roommate really did destroy the place with years of grease stains and grime. Still, I'll be spending some additional time and money to handle walls, floors, and a few other things. I needed things like walls to be scrubbed, cabinets detailed, random nooks and crannies you wouldn't normally think to clean along with the standard stuff you'd need. No shampooing of carpets, just vacuum and wash the hard floors. I got a quote within a few minutes of texting the number, and scheduled a cleaning two days later. Daniel showed up on time and ready to go. The whole process took about 3 hours and when it was all done, everything looked great the whole place felt clean and refreshed. I am satisfied with Caroline's cleaning. She was very responsive when I asked what her services had, and she also had a comprehensive list of what to expect. She had two helpers working for her and they were very kind, considerate, and quiet. They were so considerate I thought they wouldn't bother me to clean another part of my room! Overall, I'm happy with their service. The helpers worked very hard with my 3 story town house & I'm very satisfied with the work they did on my stove, microwave, and oven. My stove was really oily and filled with grease and my microwave was dirty but greasy to touch, but after they worked on it, the grease is no more! Wish I had before and after photos! There were some parts that were still not finished cleaning but I had talked to Caroline and she was willing to let them come back for a bit to finish up with no charge. Couple things I would complain about is that if there were some areas they didn't try to clean but I'm pretty sure it's just because I had a lot of clutter in the area and they would only move so much for time, and sometimes when mopping/vacuuming they would hit edges/walls a bit harder than I would like. read more

For 40 years, I have used cleaning services, due to a busy job (and not liking to clean, myself). When I called Caroline, she quickly responded and came over to look the place over and give me a quote. We had just finished a kitchen remodel, and the dust was the main concern. She assured me that she would clean things "top to bottom", and wanted to schedule for 5 PM in two days. I said, no, I didn't want people in the house that late. She then said she could do it between 2:00 and 3:00. I was gone all day at work; my husband let her in at 4:00 PM (!) When I got home from work at 5:15, Caroline had gone, and had left some woman on her own to do the whole job. This woman was NOT wearing a mask, although I had made it clear masks needed to be worn. I asked her to put on her mask, but then later I noticed she had repeatedly put it down under her nose, NOT safe at all. She was not able to tell me where Caroline was. I then called Caroline and she went into a long explanation about workers with car trouble. That is not my problem. I said, you know, it's now 5:30 and I would like to have my house back. Can you come over and help to speed things up? She actually said, "no, I'm too busy"! I was even going to sign on with her for bi-monthly services: when asked, Caroline admitted she herself does no any cleaning. She sends out people. Don't waste your money on a person who is only interested in profit. BTW, it was only an "okay" job done, not deep cleaning at all. I originally gave this business one star, but am upgrading it to 3 stars now, based on the work done. She was apologized profusely and offered a full refund (which I declined). This was simply not the "deep cleaning" I expected, as there was only one person and she was here for only two hours. It wasn't her fault. The problem was in Caroline's lack of communication. Yes, problems such as cars breaking down do happen. I'm still not sure why taking care of transporting her workers home took precedence over getting my house cleaned at the agreed upon time. Caroline made no attempt to contact us in any way, and apparently assumed we would be okay with one worker, showing up two hours later we expected. Her crews that she sends out may be good at cleaning but frankly we cannot know that. Caroline must seriously increase communication with clients that have made plans based upon her promises. Don't assume anything; make expectations clear. read more
