The Quilt Shop is located in the same shopping location as Das Dutchman Essenhaus (right behind the…read morerestaurant). The shop has a lot of beautiful quilts that are already made and also a lot of quilt kits for those that like to make their own quilt. I have no sewing experience at all so I was looking for a quilt that was already made. The quilt I was interested in only had a sample on display and was not for sale. The shop was only selling the kit. However, when I asked the owner if I could purchase the sample, she said YES!! I was ecstatic!!! I highly recommend checking out the Quilt shop and the Essenhaus shop connected to it. As an added bonus they accept credit cards here!

My husband spotted an "Old Guys Rule" (his favorite t-shirt sentiment) quilt hanging on display and located the kit. I had never purchased a quilt kit, but he talked me into it. Fast forward to August this year. Due to shelter-in-place orders, I completed enough of my UFOs to start a new project. My husband has been anxious for "Old Guys Rule" to put it in the RV. Unfortunately, when I started cutting for it, I discovered that I was short 2 fabrics. (just needed inches more). I contacted the shop and owner, Susie, responded the next day. They no longer had either fabric in stock, but she did an exhaustive search of the neighboring quilt shops and found one of the fabrics I need. As it turns out she was not able to locate fabric to match my background, so she replaced the whole background fabric for me! I highly recommend this shop, not only do they have beautiful fabric and quilts, but great customer service.

I LOVE fabric. I have reupholstered many, many chairs and made pillows, bedding, and curtain swags…read more I am currently bored with my dining room chairs. But Denver Fabrics, long my go-to and most beloved source, closed long ago. I found this place online after searching for a specific type of fabric. They do have a brick-and-mortar location. However, ordering online is easy, and the prices (discounted from retail) are VERY good. Most of the fabrics that I bought were $10/yard! Shipping is both reasonably priced and fast. They have a vast selection of fabrics, including home decor, upholstery, and outdoor. I specifically searched for upholstery fabric by color, and found several. I also bought fabric to make a duvet cover. My only complaint about their website is that the pictures can't be enlarged by much. I solved this by screenshotting the fabrics, cropping, and then saving to my pictures, where I could enlarge them with ease. Also, they don't list the fabric content. I accidentally ordered four yards of fabric that turned out to be burlap and chenille. This is why enlarging the pictures is helpful. I'll use it for a window seat, maybe. Or line a trunk. It's too casual for a formal dining room. Maybe curtains, idk.

Beautiful fabric and great service. Terrific selection and prices are terrific! I had a small…read moreissue with some fabric samples, and they were quick to respond. Will certainly buy from them in the future.
