Lolly's has been there in some form or other as long as I can remember. I was not quilting until the past 10 years or so though. They have the best selection of Creative Grids rulers I have ever seen in a store! The discount quilt fabric is a huge alcove. I peeked in but it's easy to go overboard. Lots of selections from Moda. Speaking of overboard, when they say they have a boatload of fat quarters it's a literal rowboat of fat quarters! The people here are attentive and very helpful. And they have an excellent selection of blenders as well as panels. Plus some very cute kits. Their prices are on par with most other quilt shops. But that discount fabric makes it a great value. This little outlet is one of many stores in the Davis Mercantile establishment ... which is a four level vertical shopping mall just off the main drag through town. In the Lolly's Fabric store, you'll find beautiful fabrics and quilts, and a host of needle arts supplies throughout. This place can get crowded on weekends and during special events, but there is a reason for that. We thought the fabrics and quilts were the hit of the store. If you are in the market for a special quilt, you may want to start your visit here. Keep in mind you'll spend hundreds for a nice quilt, but the quality was exceptional. They have buyers out in the market acquiring quilts for them which they then resell. So you probably won't be buying a quilt stamped out on a machine as one of many. Instead you'll be acquiring a unique piece of art. We did and are glad we visited here. Recommended. read more

VERY knowledgeable workers, and top quality quilts that Amish people put together. Just know you'll be spending a few hundreds of dollars for the quilts. QUALITY is worth it and I got one. They sell alot of their fabrics that are made in Shipshewana that people come and buy to use. read more

I just love this shop. Tons of fabrics. If it's not here, it doesn't exist. Great lighting. Clean, friendly, well organized. Even though we were here during the show, and it was very crowded, I felt like I had plenty of my own space to figure out my project. I remember the old shop from when I was here 20something years ago, not sure if the 'new' shop would live up to that memory. I am happy to report that it did. If I return to the area, this shop is at the top of my list. read more

This shop is not friendly to children who cry nor families who have special needs children. The owner's wife actually said they "really do not" have children who cry in their store, so my crying 2 year-old was making their other customers feel uncomfortable. They have moved into Davis Mercantile. Walked into the store to : WOW so much fabric! They had a great selection of many different fabrics, batiks, standard cotton prints, novelty prints. Loved that they had basic prints in many different color options! Well worth the stop read more

I bought some quilting fabric here a month ago and after finishing the top of the quilt decided that the back should have some matching fabric. Alas, I am 3 hours away & didn't want to make the trip in vain. I called Lolly's, sent them a picture of the fabric I had, they sent me a picture of the fabric I wanted, I called back & placed a phone order all in a matter of hours.
