Carousel Daycare is a truly wonderful place for our little girl. From the moment you walk through the doors, you're greeted by the warm, smiling faces of the caring staff members. The facility itself is immaculately clean and well-organized into engaging learning areas. The classrooms are bright, cheerful spaces filled with toys and activities that promote creativity and growth. In my opinion, what sets Carousel Daycare apart is the attentive staff. The childcare providers are nurturing individuals (looking at you Ms. Stacey and Ms. Janet) who clearly enjoy working with children. They form close bonds with every child and cater to each one's unique needs. The kids always seem happy. My children have been at this center for almost 4 years. I have nothing but positive things to say regarding this preschool. My oldest son started at 4 months old and my youngest started at 6 months old. Their infant teachers took care of both of them as if they were their own child. The teachers were just as excited to my children each morning as my kids were to see them. When my oldest son started one of the toddler rooms, he had a very hard time adjusting to his new room, which of course made me feel awful dropping off when he was sad and crying for me. But the teachers and administrators told me to check in as often as I needed and gave me strategies to help him with drop off and this new change for my son. It took time but they were right. Then when my son entered the preschool room he had another change besides the classroom, he was going to be a big brother, and the teachers were so understanding to my fears of James acting out at home and school because my attention would be split between two children. He eventually got used to this change as well. The staff are caring and attentive to each child in their care. I have seen this directly in each room my children have been in. The administrators are always on site to talk to each day. They greet every parent and child when they walk in the door. Teachers are always available to talk to at arrival and departure each day about my children. My boys come home happy each day (sometimes my oldest would rather stay and play then come home with me). My children have become who they are today with help of Carousel and for that I am grateful to everyone at Carousel. Thank you for taking such great care of my boys! read more

We were in awe of this place since some of our friends had sent their kids to this day care/pre-school and the wait list for this place was in several months, giving us an impression it is the most wanted day care in town. So, we enlisted, waited and got through the following year. Everything was fine for almost 8 months. Through these 8 months, I signed numerous sheets to allow my son to indulge in cupcakes that other parents brought for birthdays etc. making me believe they are super careful. It was important because my child has food allergies. All allergens were clearly listed in forms I filled nad the doctor's office provided during admission process. We also provided prescription medicines as part of admission process. I had no real complaints until they negligently changed the snack menu to include an item that my child is allergic to. No sign-up sheet was ever given to us to approve this change. Needless to say, our child had a reaction. When I asked, the teachers categorically and vehemently denied existence of said allergen in the food they offered, but promised to stop offering it next time anyway. We were fairly certain it was allergic reaction and nothing else, so without much context, I went to front office to note the ingredients of what they had fed my child, the allergen was listed in bold! When I confronted the director with this information, she made countless excuses blaming reaction symptoms to upset stomach even as I had them open their fridge and showed her the box!!! She not only failed to apologize for negligence, failed to take right steps that should have been taken due to allergic reaction, failed to offer to take steps to ensure this doesn't happen again, she blamed me instead for wanting to pull out my child immediately from this pathetic excuse of a day care. In the following week when we were going back and forth about this issue, the teachers in the class started cutting my child off from playtime, Suddenly my kid was miserable at school and crying to not go whereas he used to like his school and friends (oblivious to the fact that they gave him allergens). Administration/Owner even had the audacity to take a tone with me after I presented all the evidence to her. They are a sorry excuse for a day care and I would not recommend them to anyone, whether or not your child has allergies. They were careless, reckless, irresponsible and willing to lie to my face after everything. The teachers punished my child for the whole issue!!! read more
