He's responsive, friendly, and well priced. He may not be the least expensive, but he's certainly not the most expensive, and he and his crew do great work. I can't recommend him enough and have already sent several of my close friends his way! When we bought our house 5 years ago, we immediately recognized that the untouched basement had unlimited potential, and started dreaming of all of the possibilities. Finally this spring, we got quotes from 3 different contractors. Dan's price was reasonable and definite, and he showed that he wanted the business and could do the job. I was nervous that the basement wouldn't live up to my high expectations, but we took the leap of faith. I am SO GLAD we did. The job proceeded on schedule and on budget (at least on Dan's side - I went a little overboard on some of my choices of materials). Dan's employees and subcontractors are all polite and professional. Especially Pete, who I think is both an incredible carpenter with unmatched workmanship and also just one of the nicest, most caring guys you will ever meet. Dan and Pete brought my vision of a little Mouse House/Harry Potter nook under the stairs to life based on Pinterest photos and our shared drawings. We also did a secret room with a trick bookcase. Everyone who sees these rooms now is beyond impressed and wants to know my contractor's phone number. As a detail-oriented person (and an attorney), I had tons of "punch lists" and questions along the way. Dan received every single one of them with a smile and a positive attitude, which was so reassuring and made the whole experience so pleasant for me. He even welcomed my lists as a good way for us to stay in communication and keep track of all of the details. Ultimately, the job was completed in July of 2018, and I am thrilled to say that my basement dreams came true, exceeding all of my high expectations. All of the workmanship is top quality - the lines are straight, the cabinets are perfectly aligned, the doors are level, the electrical and plumbing and drywalling is all done right. If I find anything that needs to be adjusted, I know Dan will handle it. At this point, the only thing left for me to do is pay off my home equity loan and then hire Dan to update my upstairs kitchen and bathrooms. I can't wait.

We met with Melissa Stage there and she walked us through the cabinet options they carry and told us some about the company and the granite companies they use. She also directed us to Troy Flooring to look at options for floors. She then scheduled with us to have a measure done. The showroom is small but well put together and the staff is attentive. Our measure was complete and with excellent news, we are able to knock down a wall that we thought would have to stay! I will update this review with pictures as the progress moves forward. We are planning to start the work beginning to mid January. So far the service has been excellent and the people have been great to work with.

I of course came to yelp to check the company out. I saw the reviews and tried to call to cancel the visit and no answer. About 20min later Joseph calls from the company and I told him that I want to cancel the visit. He said when do you want to reschedule the visit I stated that I do not want to reschedule. He asked why. I told him about the Yelp reviews at which he proceeded to say that all the reviews were just disgruntled customers and that I should disregard them. I then stated that he just proved all the reviews to be true by not taking no for an answer. He started to continue at which time I said No, Thank you and hung up. If the representative comes by tomorrow he is going to have a very very bad day, and I will of course post the interaction here.
