I was able to talk them down but $900 is the "best deal" I got. I told them no I'm sorry but I don't want your services. I was shocked. They totally scammed me. I started calling other places. And now I was on a crunch. I called the next best quote on the list I had made. I called Small Town Home Services. Spoke with Quintin. His quote was the same as the first time, which was a good quote. Was able to schedule within days! They showed up did and amazing job. I am so happy I went with them. I told the receptionist/call center my cat had urinated on my area rug and gave her the size. She told me in addition to cleaning it, it would have Odor Destroyer and said my cost was $80.00 The day of the appointment Troy Hayes called to confirm my appointment and I asked him to confirm the charge; he said the charge was $80.00 When he arrived at my home I was informed it would be another $45.00 for a total of $125.00. He blamed the miscommunication on the person that scheduled my appointment. I should have canceled right then but I didn't. He cleaned the rug which was dry by the following day. It smelled no different than before the cleaning. I phoned him and he cleaned it twice more, once the day before leaving town for 6 weeks, but nothing changed. The rug still smells heavily of cat urine, can't smell and odor destroyer, and the rug is unusable at this point. Throughout this Troy was exceptionally nice so I phoned him when I arrived back in town. I had to leave a message saying how bad the rug smelled , that the odor destroyer did nothing, and that I hated to do this but I planned on writing a negative review. I left my phone number just in case he cared to talk to me or, heaven forbid, offer a refund. I waited a week to hear back before writing my review but I received neither a call or refund. Obviously he's not concerned about reviews. When a company offers a service they can't produce, a full refund should be offered. Now I know not to expect better of Oxi Fresh and will never refer a single client to them. My advise - rent a Rug Doctor. It gets the job done and if way cheaper.

I noticed the air was fresher, and, of all, the persistent musty smell was gone from the powder room, which we initially thought was a P-trap we had already serviced (by a plumber). He was quick and efficient, the house looks great! We will definitely be using this company again for any of our carpet cleaning needs! He quoted us $200-220 and it came out to a little less than $200 which was great!
