The Physical Therapist who work there have your best interest in mind and they always take your well being and future personally. Their end goal never seems to be the bottom dollar but instead, that you will be pain free, able to walk or throw....to succeed after surgery or whatever ailment made you come to them. The facility is VERY clean and in this day of COVID scare, an attendant is there wiping down and sanitizing every piece of equipment you utilize. When there are so many places to choose from, let this be your first call as they are amazing.

The equipment is in good shape, staff are friendly and the working spaces are clean and orderly. Appointments appear to begin on time, if not early, and minimal time is wasted in moving between exercises. No matter what ill fortune landed them there, no one is happy to be in physical therapy, but this group makes tolerable what might otherwise be frustrating and exhausting - and at the end of the day, there probably isn't a much better endorsement than that for this type of business.

She immediately made me feel at ease with her caring and positive attitude, and she gave me hope that we would fix my back pain. Over the course of my visits she went above and beyond to come up with exercises that mimicked my own daily tasks. Melissa taught me specific exercises to help alleviate pain if I were to have a flare-up, which I still use almost a year later. I honestly looked forward to coming to my appointment every time with Melissa and Dave making therapy such a fun and comfortable environment. I was placed there because everyone else was full. I missed my meds the first night because their…read morerecords showed that was in another room. My cousin asked that they correct their records and they did not. Some of the med techs would come in and only give me some of my meds. I would ask where the missing meds were and more than once they would ask me what was missing. I told them to check their records. They should know what I take. There is a part of your record called a *medication record.* Awesome for finding out what meds you are supposed to take. One med they pushed me to take and because of the side effects I told them I was NOT going to take until I talked to my doctor. When the facility MD came to my room he told me that the hospital ordered it. I have since seen my PCP and he said it was never ordered by any of the hospital staff. I am diabetic and there was no correlation 60% of the time regarding the timing of my insulin and the timing of meals. One day the nurse came in to check my blood sugar after my meal and asked did I eat my lunch because my sugar was so low. I had. Small portions and gross but I did eat it. One evening they brought in a high carb meal. I said I wouldn't eat it and asked them to bring me something else. They said they would and they didn't. I asked that they find someone to explain why I was not going to eat that night or tell me the nearest restaurant and I would take a cab for a decent meal. They did at that point bring me 2 cold boiled eggs and 2-4 oz containers of full sugar yogurt. A grand total of 260 calories. I told them Lean Cuisine doesn't even make meals that small. I had a friend bring me in 2 boxes of shelf stable milk after that because you have to eat protein in order to gain your strength back. Check with Google. I thought everyone knew that. I told one of my visitors that I thought this was 3rd world rehab and started to consider leaving there with or without medical approval. Oh but wait - maybe them making patients miserable is how they get them rehabbed. At the hospital I was only able to get up with assistance. Roll through the doors at Spring Valley and instantly became independent. Simply amazing!! One night I called using the "call button" and waited 1& 1/2 hours with no answer. I picked up my phone and called in in order to get some service. Was told they were short staffed. They told me they had 1 shower for the facility. Nope. I guess I'll go home dirty. I talked to the Director of Nursing, a Nurse Practitioner from the facility, a Nurse Practitioner from my insurance company, and the doctor (who claimed that the hospital ordered a medication that they had not) and no one seemed even slightly concerned. As someone else wrote "I would give them zero stars if I could." Please - unless you are going to stay with your loved one - do NOT agree to moving them there.
