I brought my daughter in for her appointment to relieve neck tension and Dr Jon Tallerico put us at ease the moment we met. He is extremely knowledgeable about all of the body science behind the whole massage process and gave us some super helpful tips as well. We will definitely be back. read more

Its founder, Dr. Jon Tallerico, holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Movement Science from Missouri State University. He is a ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist, a Licensed Massage Therapist (since 2008), a Certified Precision Neuromusuclar Therapist, a Board Certified Massage Therapist, and an Advanced Myoskeletal Alignment Therapist. Jon brings a combination of education, experience, and a passion for solving problems and helping people get out of pain.

Valence Massage and Physical Therapy is locally owned and operated by its founder, Jon Tallerico, LMT, DPT. I started Valence to separate myself from the many distractions of the "spa" environment. I believe that people want to feel better without upselling, upgrades, and trendy add-ons. Instead, my practice is dedicated to providing affordable, professional massage, neuromuscular, and physical therapy in Springfield, MO. My mission has always been to help educate customers that pain relief does not need to be a painful experience. A skilled practitioner can help you reduce stiffness, tension, pain, and soreness without causing pain.

Meet the Business Owner: Jon T.

I started Valence Massage in 2012 as a way to practice massage therapy without all the distractions of a spa or franchise. My goal is to provide highly skilled care to anyone needing relief from pain, stress, depression, or anxiety. To provide the best possible experience, I have continued my education and hold all of the following credentials: Certified Exercise Physiologist, Bachelor's in Exercise and Movement Science, Board Certified in Therapeutic Massage (BCTMB), Certified Precision Neuromuscular Therapist, Certified Advanced Myoskeletal Alignment Therapist, and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. I believe that education is the key to success.

She could have called and not let me show up just to be told to come back. I don't pay for someone to be rude to me and I won't be back. April needs to get a personality that is not so rude, nail salons are a dime a dozen and some actually make it a pleasant experience.

I am 58 and my ankle was swollen from an old tendon tear that acts up occasionally. He was a little rough, cut the nails a little too short where one hurt last night, used no real scrub, just pumiced super hard (I can take the pain, but seriously) but did do a very long lotion massage which did help relieve some stress, and probably helped with some swelling why the 3. Price was same as my lady, at $35 for regular polish. There was a very nice young lady (from Branson) I spoke with, that had recently moved here, and if I ever go back would ask for her.
