I love that they are size inclusive as well. I had a blast shopping here, and the owner helped accessorize some of the outfits. I got a couple of dresses, paid of shoes, belt and lounge wear. It was such a fun experience shopping here, I could have spent hours looking for treasures! This year we purchased a pair of hand-made wool sweaters, both really handsome in two different styles. The prices were about $200 Canadian, which we don't believe to be overly expensive given their high quality and durability (sweaters we purchased previously have held up well and still look almost like new). The shop also carries a lot of knitting skeins, which do appear on the pricey side, but we're told that similar supplies simply aren't in big supply anywhere on the island. We've chatted with the owner and found her delightful and knowledgeable about the origins of the wool in the shop. They also carry a number of other items including Scottish/Irish kilts, hats, shawls, capes, mittens, slippers and blankets. The shop seems to us a wonderful showcase for local artisans and knitters, and we look forward to many more return visits and sweater purchases.

You can tell that great care is taken by curating the collection, especially in the children's book and Canadian/PEI history sections. I found a delightful "Winnie The Pooh" book from the 50's that was very fairly priced for its condition and age. They're not priced to move - the books here are priced aggressively, and rightly so! It's a town where many a tourist passes through, ready to spend their money. I was all too happy to help stimulate the local economy and bring home to NYC a book I'll treasure for years to come.
