Supercor is super awesome grocery store. A really wide selection of fruits, veg, and even some of…read moreyour favorites from back home can be found here (Oreos, Tabasco...). Did I mention the meat section? This place is a carnivores delight with a cured meat selection that took me two photos to capture and post on Yelp. The most incongruous site for me was the amount of Jamón ibérico hanging from a coat rack contraption. It kind of looks like some crazy Halloween costume. Anyway, just in case you need some it's available here. The people that work here are super friendly and very helpful. The produce guy recommended a few local items and weighed them for my wife...yeah he was FRIENDLY, in that Spanish machismo kind of way. I recommend you attempt a bit of Spanish and you'll win them over. The store is very hard to find even though it's on a main street in central Fuengirola. The GPS, with a charming British accent, had no clue how to get us there. There are few windows facing the main road and where there should be windows there is a grey marble wall. Be patient with all the roundabouts and pedestrians in this part of town and go slow. Parking is on the street but there is a secret parking lot supposedly that is free if you spend at least 6€ at the store. Prices are fair to cheap for the quality you get. We were able to find some delicious produce and we did buy plenty of cured meats. Great experience at the Supercor.
Gray marble walls make this grocery store hard to find...that and the fact that the GPS kept us going in circles, damn roundabouts!
When in Spain there will be meat. Great selection.

No this is not a coat rack - Jamón ibérico. Only in España.

It is a fairly large shop, but only about two thirds of it is for food. It also sells gifts, dvds, games and games consoles. You will find the games consoles work out a bit cheaper than in England. (This was last year, now the exchange rate is not so good, you may not make any savings). The only problem is you need to buy a plug adapter when back in England for charging. It isn't too far from the road. And opposite there is a fair amount of parking. During high season you have to pay for this though.

It's all standing space and the guy at the counter won't pay any attention to you unless you shout "perdon" and have your order ready. the seafood was so fresh. in the case of the gooseneck clams, they tasted a little too fresh and from the ocean (if u know what i mean). the grilled razor clams and grilled padron peppers were phenomenal. the bread and herb aoli was a surprising smash hit, only 1€ and a meal in and of itself. the paella was delicious as well, replete with a variety of different seafoods (including the plumpest of mussels) but it was too salty to enjoy without a beer and ranks second in terms of seafood flavor to the paella from bar santa cruz in se. i did avail myself with glee to the large juicy slice of lemon that came with every plate though.
