New carpet, and a smaller (on purpose) selection of quality items. As far as second hand shops, this is the best I've ever been to. Their book selection alone is enough to make your visit worthwhile, tons of great Indie finds if you're a hipster (saw a 1983 WVU Rose Bowl shirt I was dying to get but it was too large for me), and then some high end items as well. The management is helpful and you'll always find friendly service. One of Garret County's best spots!

I know as my the security cameras showed there excellent work ethics as they moved through house. Mr. Summer came out to my home and even though house was dusty and not even a glass of cold water was available, he treated me like I was family. Don't hesitate to use his services. You will get great service and make top dollar on your possessions. He encourages crowds of bidders, by using the latest technology, be it social networking or photos of upcoming items being sent to interested parties.. He keeps you up to date and communicates clearly as auctions progress. Classic rock records in abundance along with rare/hard to find gems that I had never seen before..the owner is a collector and the unique posters and framed colored vinyl bordering the wall are really cool. Was also able to find a lot of new "millennial" music that spanned all types of rock in addition to electronica and hip hop. The store also sells a variety of turntables, headphones, collectibles, supplies, and boasts a killer T-shirt collection. Unfortunately I already have a turntable but will return when I'm ready for my upgrade. The owner was super helpful and clearly very passionate about all things music.. This is a very good stop for art both at the local level and also a great place to have framing and…read morematting done. I would say in general the woman who owns and runs the shop is very welcoming, she offers tips and I believe classes, and isn't afraid to give you options for anything you're looking for. I have been here several times including today when I was in town. Very friendly staff, great local art. And fine tuned craftsmanship with the framing!
