I am not particularly a fan of how far it is from home. It does serve as an adequate backdrop for events. The curb appeal is evident although the event space is much more updated (which is a benefit IMO). I have never stayed the night here nor do I see that happening in my future. My last event there I did hand the bartender a $20 but received change for a $10 and she was adamant that I had only given her a $10 though my 2 $20s were now down to one. I didn't want to ruin the ball for everyone around so I decided to not make a scene. But that really left a bad taste in my mouth. I have attended the Sunday Brunch. The price was steep considering the mimosas were around $9 each. Seriously, I am in the middle of nowhere- I would expect a much more affordable drink when the brunch is already over $30. The brunch was fine though. I will not be attending brunch again.

This is a excellent location. Casino is nice with an Ocean view and the Steamer also an excellent place to eat seafood and its located just across the street from the casino. Each place is a short walk from The Guest House At Gulfport Landing! Kathy was head of the house the day I arrived and she was so nice. She showed me around the house and made me feel at home as soon as I put my bags down at the door. I loved the house! It was quiet, clean and very comfortable. The next morning, she prepared a wonderful breakfast at 8:00am The food and presentation was perfect 5 star! Everything to eat was made from scratch. Jason prepared a to go breakfast for me due to the fact that I had to leave at 4:00 am!! Best to go breakfast order of 2 biscuits with egg and sausage I have ever had, and the fruit was OMG nice and fresh coffee too! Really! Recently while in the Biloxi/Gulf Coast area I did just that and stayed at Chateau Blessy and it was an EXCELLENT choice. The owners, Walter and Katherine, made me feel like I was at home and apart of their family. Chateau Blessey like most properties on the Gulf Coast received damage from Katrina, however was one of the only that survived. The history the owners shared was wonderful as well as the overall hospitality. If you visit the Biloxi/Gulport, MS area, either for business or pleasure, and do not stay at Chateau Blessy you are missing a wonderful experience. I will look forward to returning and enjoying my great experience again!!!

The home is absolutely perfect and Debbi's breakfast each morning is to die for! Swamp casserole was so delicious, I had dreams about it! Tim is a great "server" and is so great to share talks w. His knowledge of the area makes the chats we had perfect. I felt like such a princess at our wedding and Debbi and Tim made sure it all was perfect! Even if you're not getting married but just want a getaway from everyday hustle and bustle this is the place to go unwind and relax!! Can't wait to go back for our anniversary next year!!

Linda (the owner) gave us a fair&unbeatable price for the Larger poolside suite despite it being Mardi Gras, Valentine's day, as well as it being the weekend when we arrived. Linda was a DOLL! She took care of us, fluffed our room when we were out & reloaded our fridge with breakfast daily. She showed us around the place and welcomed us like family. I truly felt like I was at mom's house. True southern hospitality. We had a few good talks about the history of her house and her life as she once lived in New Orleans. My fiancé enjoyed talking with Linda as New Orleans is where he was born and raised. Despite our talks, Linda does not hover! Which was so appreciated, when you're on a "romantic"vacation. We had our own privacy during our stay as each suite is separate and inaccessible from where Linda stays in her home. We came and went as we please and used the hot tub at night as late as we wanted. We had our own private entrance, which was incredibly nice. The privacy was appreciated as I didn't know what to expect when we first arrived, but I was prepared to be open minded. I think I will always choose a Bed and Breakfast over a lousy hotel in the future. The rooms were grand and clean. The bathroom was nice and the shower as well. Everything was clean. Its just an old house, but I loved the cottage vibes. It was home-y. The town is walkable and cute! A Mardi Gras parade came right through down the street, during our last day there, which was nice. The poolside porch and hot tub made me feel like I was at a resort. The beauty of the home is breathtaking! Romantic cottage vibes! Perfect for couples or even a small girls trip. I will definitely be back to Linda's next year when we visit again for Mardi Gras. Linda has made me never want to stay at a hotel again.
