If their programmers were so smart, why didn't they detect that these are about the 11th and 12th such buys we have made in the past 12 months? I ended up booking two less desirable seats due to MOCSE's low bandwidth system. But wait, there's more...Shortly after jumping through all of their hoops and calling and speaking to a staff member, i tried to purchase three tickets to a place we are visiting in Scotland in July ($84), and the system wouldn't allow it. Even their staffer helping, me clearing cache, restarting the computer, you name it nothing worked. The vendor's system indicated it was a bank not approving the sale (yes I have no balance and an good credit rating). Neither the CC or the DC would work for either the MOCSE employee or I. To be extra fair, she tried to help as best she could but to no avail. She asked me to call another person, who so far has not returned my call. (I have already spent almost an hour on the phone dealing with this.) But wait, there's more. A few years ago, their system MISSED a fraudulent charge I caught and had to bring to their attention. Hampering my transactions has caused me inconvenience several times before, this is the worst so far. It is time to reduce my banking institutions to my other two. Not worth the frustration, I only opened the account to be supportive of the CU and it was close to where we live. Simply not enough bandwidth for prime time, I recommend a NO on them.

I want the record memorialized. A few years ago, we met with Bob and completed an intake form wherein we declared, both by in-person explanation and by the form, that our largest single deduction each year was the $12K alimony paid to my former wife. Yet, for two years straight, this was not included in our returns, and only after we inspected and questioned this, two years of amended returns had to be filed. Then, even though Bob had all of our income streams, we were not asked to file quarterlies, causing a massive year-end payment to both the IRS and the Franchise Tax Board for FY 2025. Then, we were grossly overcharged on our last tax preparation fees, resulting in a credit. Again, an error found by us. Then, documents were misfiled by your office, resulting in today's amended report. Have you now reviewed the quarterlies for FY 2026? Do we now owe even more money than was already paid in Q1 and Q2? Are these recalculated based on the documents found for FY 2026? Correct me where I am wrong here. I will stop by today for the documents. (No response by Gordin and Associates was received to this email, nor to the one after making sure they had filed the latest amended return.) Consider this when choosing your tax accountant. In our experience, responsive communications are not their strong suit.
