David and Erick did a stellar job ceramic coating my BMW 430i convertible in time for a huge car show earlier this month. I was pleased with the exemplary service and follow-ups to ensure my satisfaction. They even gave me some detailing towels to keep on hand just in case because the day of pick-up was forecasted to rain. When I got my baby back, she was virtually swirl-free and the paint honestly looked better than factory. The wheels haven't looked so clean since I got them, even though I am meticulous with car care. Their prices are fair considering the level of detail that goes into the work and the fact that they are an authorized Gyeon detailer (using their high-quality products). I paid $800 for a 3-year coating and it included a 1-step paint correction and a great interior detail... the carpets were pristine! So glad I found David on yelp! I've been in Palm Desert for about 2 weeks and the weather had gotten to my car . It was dusty and spiraling started on my hood not to mention the melted deodorant on the back seat . I took to yelp in search of the BEST auto detailing nearby. Amazing work. I have a 1971 Mercedes 280SL which looked pretty good - nice looking paint job but a regular detail did not do much to change it. I had heard about paint correction but was unclear if my car would benefit from this. I was referred to David and Cars N Things by my trusted mechanic. David came by my house to look at the car and to ensure my current paint job could handle the paint correction process. With his paint meter, he determined it was fine and then explained the process to me. He gave me a couple of choices of how to do the work - one would take out 30% of the current scratches and swirls in the paint OR one would take out 85%, with the final step being the application of the ceramic coating. I went for the more extensive one. David does all of this work in his garage which looks like a high end detail shop. He and his team started the work on Sunday and were done at the end of Wed. He gave me constant updates throughout the process except on Wed when he said he wanted me to see the finished product in person. My wife and I were blown away by what we found on our arrival. Aside from the quality of the work, I was also impressed with David's professionalism and how he listened to my wants/needs. They were documented upon my arrival on Sunday and he made sure to address all of the requests while the car was in his hands. He also seemed as happy as we were with the final outcome. I called in a panic after I received damage to my car from a gate. David responded right away offering to come to my house to look at my car and give me a price. He also said he could do the work right then in there if I agreed to the price. He showed up on time and said he could remove about 85% of the damage. Within an hour my car was back to 99% plus.
