Drive up, choose from levels of service (with someone always suggesting the most expensive), walk in and pay, then sit and wait. The finishing work was exceptional though. Great place with a variety of options to choose from. I went the morning of Memorial Day not knowing what to expect. It was fast. I just needed a quick rinse on my car to get the sap off. Not a problem. Only $10 to drive through which includes air dry and use of the vacuums. Cleaned everything off. (Nice!) I could have opt'd for the hand dry, but I was in a bit of a rush. Beware. Took my 1week old car in last Saturday. Asked for the "best car wash." I have used this car was before with no problem. However, after getting back home I noticed a scratch extending from the roof line all the way down my hood, extending to the front bumper. The owner of course accepts no blame. So I am now out $1,000 to repaint the area on a car with less than 1200 miles on it. If you value your car Do Not take your car to K&R car wash. Rode in from Bay Area 700 mile drive with at least 700 bugs plastered across my front end. My mirrors were a plastered with bug juice. Rasim saw the mess and promptly went to work removing before sending into the tunnel for official mechanical car wash. I was amazed when I stopped and was approached to put on tire shine. I went to K & R car wash yesterday based on the reviews I read. I couldn't be happier with the service I received. The young woman who I paid for the "better" full service wash was friendly and efficient. Rasim, the owner, who was friendly and professional, inspected my vehicle, a 2011 Subaru Forester SUV. He told me that he would do his best to get the dog fur off my upholstery and out of my carpets but wanted to make sure I had proper expectations. He did not try to sell me extra services. I went for a walk while they cleaned my car. I returned 25 minutes later and they were still vacuuming and cleaning the interior. After 5 to 10 minutes more, they put the car through their exterior wash and moved it to the area to dry it. I can't believe how much time and effort the person finishing my car spent drying and cleaning all surfaces. The crew at KNR spent an extraordinary amount of time cleaning the interior and exterior of my car. The car was way way cleaner than I expected. It was the best car wash I've ever been to. I'm over 60! So, I've been to plenty of car washes. K&R is the best. I hope this review encourages others to patronize this small, locally owned business. Rasim works very hard to make sure his customers are beyond delighted. I recommended my sister go there for her SUV and will gladly tell others of my outstanding experience at K&R. read more

For a car wash out of the way this is pretty decent. When you pull up, you might be suspect, but it was a very good car wash and we come back here all the time whenever in Palm Springs or in Indio. I must say I've never gone to a car wash and felt so comfortable and welcome!! The owner Rasim, is super friendly and very helpful with anything you need.! I have a convertible, and came in just for a shampooing for my carpets and he was doing everything he can for me! I really appreciate that. I ended up getting everything done inside and out! He made me feel comfortable about washing my soft top, I would never let someone else touch it but he talked me into it! He has such great customer service what a wonderful man! Not great experience here, but they ended up getting the car somewhat clean. It was certainly fast. I didn't much appreciate that they wouldn't give a quote of their prices over the phone, but when I sent a yelp request they came back with a quote quickly. $50 for interior and exterior including washing mats. They did a so so job. Maybe it's a location thing but compared to LA hand washes this was disappointing. The painted portion of the wheel wells weren't cleaned on the outside, left pretty filthy, but I was headed for another long drive so let it be. On the interior though, I had to ask them twice to go back and vacuum it more thoroughly. And it still wasn't a thorough vacuum. On first round even the very very easy to vacuum leather seats weren't vacuumed well. The car wasn't filthy to start so it was annoying. And frankly, when I stop at a gas station and use the vacuums there I do a much better job. They were nice people though, and fast. But if I pay $40 for a wash in LA, my car is pristine when they're done. That definitely didn't happen here. I'd rather wait 45 minutes and end up with a really clean car. Hope they improve. read more

The clerk, Alma is very friendly and greets you with a smile. Rasim is the owner and he is always on the premises. That's dedication to his customers. He either helps vacuums your car or he walks around every vehicle to make sure the workers are doing a good job. Prices are better then the surrounding area but the attention to detail is the bonus. Wow, definitely five stars! This is the spot to go if you're anywhere nearby. He squeezed me and even though he was closing at 5 PM he took me at 4:30 with a Tesla model X that was quite dirty because I have four children. We waited inside the store I did a massage chair which was lovely and he was so nice to my children who loved looking at all the amazing things that he had to sell lol! He even gave them all a lollipop, which was so sweet he did not have to do that. My car looks amazing. I have no idea how they did that in 40 minutes and he even did the wax for 50 bucks. I don't think you can do much better. If I lived here I would absolutely be a member and I can't wait to get my car cleaned here in the next time I come back! Gosh, it smells so good even with like disgusting for children stuff everywhere. Somehow they got it all out. read more

Expensive for the service. Washed the surface area, but neglected inside the door areas & inside door surfaces . Windows were streaked. Tires were hardly treated. Vacuuming was marginal on surface of the Weathertec mats, neglecting the carpet areas underneath & in the back of our SUV! Seemed under staffed. Probably the best experience I've had at a car wash and that is because of Rasim and whoever the man was that washed my car. My car had hard water stains from a pipe that leaked in my building's garage and Rasim was very kind about helping me with this. My mom told me to come here because she said K&R always does a good job and they're very nice. It's really nice to be treated well and get the services you need done well too!
