I've come back to this store maybe once a month for the past two years ever since. They carry a wide selection of clothing from casual t-shirts and sweaters to fancier dresses and blouses. Recently, they've been carrying a collection of screen printed t-shirts with the Houston skyline on them which is the perfect gift for a resident/native Houstonian. Late last year, during football season, they were even selling college football themed shirts. They also host a variety of decorative signs for the home. I've purchased several of these for myself and as gifts for friends. Their jewelry collection fluctuates between seasons; sometimes they'll have a lot of options, sometimes they won't. As for shoes, there are probably a dozen different pairs sold each season. All in all, a perfect place to stop by and waste an hour especially if you are dining in Kings Harbor.

We tried Cavender's and the guys in that hat area were rude and dismissive... Then my husband found ROCK'EM!!!! From the moment we stepped in the staff was great! I have a big ole watermelon size head and don't wear hats... The young lady (I didn't get her name) started off really patient helping me. She never made me feel uncomfortable, and when she needed a second opinion she grabbed a hat guy. FERMIN stepped in and SAVED THE DAY! He helped me figure out the size, then shaped and adjusted it around my head and face! He never seemed rushed or bothered and that made it such a great experience! So seriously THANK YOU!! It was SO crowded after the business went viral on social media as being THE place to shop for rodeo. While I couldn't really browse much last year, I did find a hat that I was in love with and have thought about for the entire year. My friend and I came in on a Wednesday afternoon when it wasn't too crowded. We were greeted immediately by Jhonny and he ended up staying and helping us throughout our entire shopping process. They have the best fitting wide calf boots I have ever tried on. They were so stunning and comfortable! They also run a little big, so I was able to comfortably size down! He then helped me pick out boots for my husband and he absolutely nailed it! He asked about his sizes and what kind of things my husband liked. He gave me three options, and my husband liked all of them, but LOVED one. They were also very reasonably priced. He's so happy with them! I also finally got my dream hat. I was able to have it cleaned, shaped and branded. It's perfect! Such a great shopping experience and I'm definitely looking forward to coming back in the future for more rodeo wear.

For instance, I picked up a ruched black, asymmetrical jeweled shoulder minidress (a la Balmain, retail $3k+...) for around $100. There's no skimping on the quality either - all my dresses have held up perfectly through rainstorms, wine spills, and those crazy bar nights... I've sent friends over to Affection for all sorts of ocassions (weddings, school dance, mardi gras parties) and they always leave with a smile on their face. Paula is super sweet and is always willing to help you pick out a head to toe look for that special occasion.
