It's in a commercial shopping strip, near Reggae Hut (as a landmark), there is a shared parking lot in the back. And a second parking lot behind the first one, that seemed like an overflow lot. I parked there and it was fine. The store was mostly empty, a few ladies shopping. They have a bangin playlist. And they have both dresssy and casual clothes. Some rodeo fits, and other clothes too. Neecey (sp) was my saleswoman, hype woman, stylist. She offered me alcohol while I looked around, lol. Once she got a feel of what I was gravitating to, she started pulling pieces for me. The changing rooms don't have mirrors in them, there's one big one outside the dressing room for everyone to share. Which is a smart marketing ploy. It forces you to come outside the dressing room, look at your outfit to assess, and allows the sales associate to style and enhance the look for you. For example she would add a hat, or a belt, offer shoes etc to add to the look to make it complete. The pieces are pricey. I don't know if they have a sales rack. But I didn't see one? They said they have stores in LA as well, so maybe the prices do track? I went on a lil shopping spree, lol. But she Neecey did help, and I appreciated it. A friend suggested I take a look before I spent a fortune on an off the rack tuxedo and boy am I glad I did! What a pleasant and professional experience! I met with Mr. Balu, the owner of the shop, in his beautiful new Southwest Freeway shop (he has 2 shops, so I recommend calling ahead and asking that he meet you there). While they have a nice selection of ready to wear suits, their specialty is obviously custom work, as evidenced by the dozens of fabric books available for consideration. I described the tuxedo I was thinking about to Mr. Balu and he immediately understood what I wanted and within minutes found a variety of fabric options which met my requirements. Mr. Balu took numerous measurements, reviewed all of my styling options (collar style, taper, sleeve and pant leg length preferences, etc.) and let me know that my new tux would be ready for a fitting in 4-5 weeks. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised when he called me about 3 weeks later to let me know that my tuxedo was ready for a fitting! At the fitting, Mr. Balu conscientiously examined the fit, confirmed a few measurements, and advised that he needed to take in the waist a bit and adjust the pants length. Otherwise, the tuxedo fit like a glove and was beautiful! Within only a few days, I received a message letting me know he was finished. I tried on the tuxedo once more and it was truly perfect! Now for the amazing news: My new custom tuxedo cost me less than an off the rack version at Nordstrom or Neiman Marcus and not only fit me better but appears to me to be of a higher quality craftsmanship and better material! Recently we ordered multiple outfits for my son's wedding, including the bridal lehenga, groom's sherwani, and outfits for my daughter's family including both grandchildren. We described what we wanted for each outfit and Ramesh Bhai's designs surpassed our vision for EVERY single piece! We couldn't decide which outfit we liked the best because we truly loved each one equally! The bridal lahenga was gorgeous. What amazed me further was how stunning the groom's sherwani was! It was unique, modern, and masculine. Everyone raved about how cute and unique my granddaughter's cape lahenga was, and my grandson's sherwani made him look like a prince! Ramesh Bhai also did a superb job designing our son-in-law's groom sherwani 10 years ago. My son-in-law requested a unique sword design for his wedding outfit and Ramesh Bhai (and his staff) custom designed a stunning cover for the sword. His staff even stayed after store hours working on it and it ended up being one of the focal points of their wedding! At first an employee said "we only do exchanges within 1-2 months of purchase". Then I showed her it hadn't even been a month. Then the story changed and now they don't do exchanges at all. Why lie? Multiple times? We will not be back. I expect there to be shenanigans at these stores honestly but to lie and have that lie change again and again to suit the store is concerning.
