For anyone who isn't familiar with mud bogs, it's basically a muddy track that people race trucks across one-by-one for time (or distance if they get stuck). This place is awesome! Kids under 12 get in free and adult admission is $10. You park right along the track and enjoy the races... They have foot races for the kids, a concession stand, and restrooms available. You can even bring a grill if you want. They run races every other weekend, so check if it's a race week before you go. And wear clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting dirty because it's in a big field. Definitely something fun to do in the area!

The temperature was about 55 to 60 degrees and the sun was out with a little wind blowing. They do have a concessions stand. See photo of their menu items and prices. There was only one person in line when I decided I wanted something to eat. I chose nachos and cheese like I usually do at race tracks. The nachos look like the same ones you buy at Sam's Club which is just a few miles away in Jacksonville, NC. They do have bathrooms here but they need to be remodeled. You can wash your hands and there is soap. But, no paper towels in one of the paper towel dispensers. The parking can be congested if you like tier parking which is viewing the races from the tailgate of your pickup truck. You have to park in about the same area as the pits. So, I parked up against the fence and could see pit crew members right behind me. One acted like he wanted my parking place. On Scene: While I was here. One race car blew an engine in the right lane causing oil to be spilled. As a result, they closed the right lane instead of cleaning it up. Therefore, no more racing two cars. However, they did keep the left lane open. But, it was boring with no more racing two cars down the race track. It was just a race car racing by itself down the track in one lane.

They did a lot of test hits but I came to watch cars and trucks race. The guy on the microphone always said this car is going to put on a smoke show. How about you tell us who is driving and what they are driving. Also learn what type of cars are here and an Acura is not a BMW. It is an over priced Honda. The guy also always has a dam hot microphone. If the cars are in the burn out pit please do the folks in the spectator pits a favor and turn the microphone off it is unbearable. The guy that replaced the guy was on the microphone was better but too little too late. I lost interest and decided to do a yelp review. ALSO HOW MUCH DO LIGHT BULBS COST???? The time boards have about half the bulbs working at best.

Bathrooms have a place where you can wash your hands. They also concession stands that have great food. They also had no lines every time I wanted something to drink and eat. Race track view: all seats are good seats from what I see. But, I would recommend sitting up as high as possible to get an even better view. I could see the race cars driving around the whole race track. I met a friend beside me while here. I said he was a regular and used to have a race team and come to this race track in his younger days. He mentioned a few drivers that were racing today that used to drive for him. Prices for admission was very reasonable. They were charging $15 to get in. They also have senior citizens discount where it was only $12 for admission. In summary, I had a great time. I will definitely come back to this race track soon. Everyone was nice and friendly.

This Race Track is located out in the country about 10 miles from Goldsboro, NC. This was my 1st…read morevisit to this race track. However, it is the 34th different race track that I have been to. The admission was only $10. I had a great view from my pickup truck as I used tier parking. It's what I like to do. Nothing better than backing up your pickup trick alongside a fence to watch a race on a Saturday night. I like putting my tailgate down and watching the race from my lawn chair of the bed of truck. Entering and leaving the race track was no problem as it was self parking. You can park just about wherever you like. Now, they do have grandstands where you can watch the race. But, there just isn't anything more exciting than watching the race from the comfort of your truck. There are no facilities here where you can wash your hands nor do that have bathrooms. I did see a few portable units though. There is only 1 concession stand and it is at the entrance to the track. So, if you park where they told me to, you have to walk all the way around and then walk all the way back. They had pretty good food. I got nachos and cheese which was great. However, the hot dog was under cooked and I decided not to eat it. I like my hot dogs well done.

I went here with my boyfriend and his extended family - our group of 13 (ages across 3 generations)…read moreeasily spent almost 2 hours here and we golfed pretty efficiently! This course was one of the most enjoyable and scenic courses I've ever had the pleasure of playing at. Many of these holes were creative and doable as well. And during one of the holes where there's a chance your putt putt ball can fall into the water, there's a grate to catch it. The prices are pretty great, at $14/person for the first round and only $6/person for the second round (for golf at least). The only thing we could really give feedback on was that the train was broken at the time, but they were communicative with us about it and it didn't affect how much we could play. We could still easily access the upper levels of the course just fine, and even our elderly players walked up the steps and slopes fine as well. Some of the "mineshaft" looking areas were pretty warm and stuffing (just a warning!), though. Overall, it's a really enjoyable and nice place to go to with groups. It's one of the larger activity-based attractions on the island, so depending on when you go, it can get quite busy. The ambiance was lively, though, and it drizzled a bit (I like a little rain). They also had go-kart raceways and water boats, too! We'll definitely be coming back to enjoy all the activities in its entirety :)

We tried their go-karts, bumper boats, and 18 hole mini golf course. We go-karted first. I couldn't hear any of the instructions and had to come back to get a back seat to be able to drive better (I highly recommend getting the extra back cushion if you're on the shorter side). It's a very short course, so the laps get repetitive, but we still had fun. We tried the bumper boats next. I didn't enjoy this one as much because my boat's motor was broken and I couldn't move, so I got stuck in corners if people didn't bump me. I did enjoy spraying my family friends though. The mini-golf here is harder than it looks! We had a great time trying all the different courses. Some things felt in need of love or an update, but this didn't take away from the mini-golf experience. Overall, we had a fun evening here.

Today Ryan Newman was on track and they have had several known nascar drivers now come to race here.. it's our own local track and super family friendly.. they even have playground for the kids. The concession stand has good food and bathrooms are pretty clean. We try to always get a trackside spot so we can do our own tailgating thing..we always have good time here.

The go-carts drive really well and you can go super fast of safe and slow. Going fast isn't as scary as it sounds- great feeling the wind! However, I'd recommend squinting your eyes or even wearing some sort of shield over your eyes (glasses or sunglasses work too) because there's lots of grime and dirt that comes flying up into your face when you go fast. There's also traffic lights around the track, so when the lights go yellow it means the time is almost up, and red means to slow down and get ready to pull up. The place is super fun but just go at your own risk because there's not too many safety precautions other seatbelts and restraints, and when the carts bump the impact isn't exactly smooth. Oh, and about the people who work there- They have clearly changed who works there because now the people are really nice and amicable, and willing to answer any questions we had.

I went to Legion Stadium for a Vegan Festival in April. I did not even know Legion Stadium…read moreexisted prior to this event but the facility is provided as a venue for performances, exhibitions, athletic events and other activities in the Wilmington Area. It is rather large, they do serve beer, which I find always makes an event that much better, and the fields seemed pretty clean and well kept. The stadium itself though has not had any refurbishments and does seem a little dated in spots, but overall for an outdoor event, I think it is perfect. It has amble parking spots too which is nice for someone who gets anxiety about where to park in Wilmington.

It is very relaxing to sit back and enjoy the amateur game while drinking beer and having sandwiches. The stadium isn't that modern though, so you won't be able to watch any replays. Nonetheless, it is a great place to spend the evening relaxing. Fortuitously, on my visit after the game there was a very impressive fireworks show that was consistently interesting and featured a variety of fireworks. All in all, a great time was had here.
