There is 4 aids to 15 kids and I still felt my child was neglected. Constantly had diaper rashes and got ahold of a battery and chewed it. The nurse called me to pick up my child because they weren't sure if he swallowed battery acid. Upon arriving they sent my child back to his class. I was very upset the main principle did not want to speak to me so she assigned the assistant principle * Also, my son's teacher always dresses like she rolled out of bed.. no pride to her job and the class constantly had a sub. My son always came home smelling like poop * The class room is messy and smells as well. They are not organized at all. I can keep going and going about my opinions. I have even contacted the district and nobody ever answers. I leave messages and nobody ever returns my call. I am still searching for a school I can trust for my child to go to.

The students are the ones losing out due to them shifting to be a very punitive type of campus. They have taken retaliatory actions against my children for me pointing out their hypocrisy and sadly the kids are only there because they want to be there whereases before I loved and supported the school and wanted them there, now i dont but they want to be there, so im trying to put up with it but many parents i talk to are disappointed with them as well, and new parents should be warned. They cut dozens of good teachers due to loss of students, but they seem to want to push more out!!!

We have an AWESOME admin team that is always eager to support and find reasonable solutions. The whole staff and faculty team at AMSF is kind, helpful, and supportive. It took no time to feel welcomed as a part of an awesome functioning team, and family. The way AMS has stepped up during this COVID-19 outbreak has been nothing short of incredible. Right away AMSF jumped into action continuing to serve breakfast and lunch to our students and their siblings, some of which do not even attend AMSF. Additionally, teachers were promptly trained in Google Classroom, and Chromebooks were distributed for families to continue education from home. For families who do not have internet access, teachers have been providing take home work packets. I put my all into my position, I took pride in helping my students reach their academic goals, meeting and many times exceeding their own expectations. The disconcerting and unbelievable issue that I have with Fowler School District, is that they only paid me half of my monthly salary. My monthly salary should have been slightly over $1200 a month, and I was bringing home slightly over $600 a month. I repeatedly contacted payroll and HR, to dispute the issue, and was either yelled at, transferred to another unknown employee, or completely ignored. I couldn't afford to quit at the time, and my heart would not let me quit on my students. So I struggled for months. Juggling payday loans, coming home to an empty refrigerator, being greeted by eviction notices at my front door. Not knowing what tomorrow would bring, I still got up, went to work, worked hard for my students, and held on until the end of that school year. Penny, from payroll assured me that I would receive a lump sum at the end of the school year, for all funds that I was shorted of, which was more than $3500. I never received my money. I was, however, evicted from my apartment, and left with a significant amount of debt that I accrued while trying to survive on just half of my salary. Fowler School District, gave me the run around until the statute of limitations ran out, so that they wouldn't legally have to pay me my salary. If you or anyone you know is seeking employment with Fowler School District, you should take my review to heart, and ask yourself, if this is an issue you would like to have to deal with personally.
