The thing is, I went to another Chiropractor, 3 days ago, she was a temp, and she was worthless!!!! She couldn't even crack my back! "That'll be $40 sir"! Today, I was at my wits end and still in serious, breath taking pain. That's when I was fortunate enough to come across, Collins Chiropractic Center, while searching the internet. First off, I was given an appointment that day, and, I was greeted cheerfully by a young lady, at the front desk! Jennifer, I think is her name. (I hope I got that right). Very soon after, the Doctor, came out, and I told him about Dr. Josh, and how he had big shoes to fill, lol! Anyway, he led me to the back room, where he asked me if I recognized the work table/bed? When I said no, I mean who would, right? He said" you should, it was Dr. Josh's! Right then I knew I was in good hands! Like an Omen! Long story short, he successfully cracked my back, and I felt as though a huge boulder was lifted off my shoulders! I can breath! I can stand upright again!!!! Weird thing is, I felt a huge rush of endorphins, that was actually emotional. Never had that before... But, I'll take it!! By now, you're probably over my story, and simply want me to either recommend him or not. I WHOLEHEARTEDLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!!! They've earned a lifelong patient! I've been going to the correct practice which has a similar name and I've felt 1000% better with only 4 visits after being in terrible pain and trouble walking. last visit to Active Family Wellness I expressed that I was in pain and I mentioned to the office manager that I was in too much pain and I wanted to skip the tense pressure before the adjustment and I was told "You have to do it". which was so painful it brought me to tears and I didn't feel any better. Additional I was made to sign paperwork agreeing to pay a detailed breakdown of the when I have health insurance which I was completely caught of guard by. I went in for an adjustment and it helped quite a bit but each return visit the techs just put you on the roller bed and hook up the electros. No "how are you feeling" or "do you have any concerns"? While my neck is better my shoulder blades and lower back where they connect the electros have been getting more sore and painful. I brought it up on my last visit but it seemed to just be received with an, "ok, make sure you're stretching more." I get it's not that expensive and they have a lot of patients, but I'd like a little more attentiveness and followup each visit before treatment is started. Dr Mike and his staff are very friendly and I do recommend their office. The office itself is very clean and they do a great job of being on time with your appointment.

I really can't say enough great things about Dr. Paul…read more He is the best and his entire goal is to make sure you only need to see him once or twice a year, if that. I have been going to a chiropractor to relieve chronic neck and back pain for years - since I was in my 20s and it always consisted of 3 appointments a week for 5/10 min with those electromagnetic pads... you know the routine. With Dr. Paul, he spends 30 min or an hour on you depending on how much time he needs, and he works on you from head to toe. I used to have chronic neck and shoulder pain but I have not experienced that type of pain since seeing him. If I do have pain, I may see him once a year. he also pads his appts with 15 minutes of time in between just for free touch ups! I have sent every client, friend and family member to him. He is a miracle worker and I would gladly pay out of pocket for that kind of care, even with insurance. It's worth EVERY CENT- although you can absolutely submit to your insurance for reimbursement! My husband was on of the biggest skeptics when I first told him about Dr Paul. It took at least one or two years before he actually went bc I paid for the appt in advance. But after just one visit, he became Dr. Paul's biggest fan. I also brought a good friend who was dealing with chronic hip pain for at least a year or two after a fall. She was scared to go but after nagging her for a couple years, she finally went and Dr. Paul fixed her in one visit. Granted she is still scared to go to any chiropractor but I am sure if she felt bad, he would be the first person she thinks of. I feel we are so lucky to be in Alexandria and have access to him, but I know people travel in from all over to see him bc he really is the best. I can go on and on but I think you get the hint. I couldn't believe he even had any (less than) 5 star reviews, but after reading them, it made me so sad for those 1 or 2 people. The reviews are clearly not even close to being accurate.
