Great place. It is by the river but you can't see the river. The staff is super nice and being an airline girl the decor was fun. I had the teriyaki chicken sandwich. It was sooooooo good. The chicken was perfectly cooked. The teriyaki sauce was delicious and the pineapple yum. There was a sign when we walked in and it said do not seat yourself. We did stand there for a few minutes before being acknowledged and then the staff said sit wherever and we wondered around changing our minds on where we wanted to sit. The staff followed us through it all. They were so great. I would change that sign to say please wait here for your seat assignment if you want to be more airport like lol.

so it's just a water, but it's nice and large and they refilled it several times cause I was thirsty without even flagging her down

so my wife and I had a staycation here in town she had the whole week off, and we ate at several restaurants all throughout the Oregon area. I have to say that the customer service here at the hanger was the best that we received along with the food may not be five star steakhouse, but the quality of the cooking the temperature and the freshness were On Point definitely worth going back for and who doesn't love this cute little bar with all the knickknacks on the walls have to say probably one of my favorite trusted places that I know I'm gonna be satisfied when I go here every time

Busy for lunch time on a Monday, happy hour was good, fast service for one server running on both sides, she never forgot about us, for 4 drinks, and 2 burgers for lunch. 48$. Can't beat it and it was tasty. A lot of people having breakfast, will be getting that next time

Came here before a float because it was so close. Our server was super nice and the food came out fast and hot! The food was really good! I got the corned beef hash which is made in house and was super tasty. Their bacon was chewy and perfect amount of salty. My friend got the chicken fried steak and it was really good. I really enjoyed their spicy Bloody Mary it was very flavorful. The restaurant is very laid back and vintage. Would definitely come back!

We used the occasion to hook-up with friends from Vancouver (also CA transplants) for lunch. We selected The Stone Cliff Inn as a convenient mid-way meeting place. What a delightful choice! As career restaurateurs (now retired) owners of a fine-dining California cuisine rustic restaurant of our own, we were most impressed by our complete dining experience at The Stone Cliff Inn. The atmosphere is spectacular (reminding us of the Ahwahnee Hotel in Yosemite) as was the food and service. The four of us ordered fairly standard faire for lunch...sandwiches and a salad entree. Everything was prepared perfectly both in taste and appearance. The service, too, was beyond reproach. Our primary server, Marianne and her attendants were excellent. The basics of attentive table-side service (prompt order-taking, delivery, beverage refills, plate clearing, dessert suggestions & check presentation) were all conducted in a comfortable professional style. I, too, would be remiss if I didn't comment on my being extremely impressed that every single staff member with whom I made eye contact addressed me with a friendly "hello" and a smile from ear-to-ear. All in all, this was a delightful visit and the owners of this restaurant deserve praise for executing such a professional operation.

I tried the bruschetta. 2 small pieces of toast topped with chutney, goat cheese, prosciutto, etc. Bread pretty tough, overwhelming taste of the chutney. Blackened sirloin and prawns. Comes with broccolini, mashed potatoes and gravy. NOT blackened at all. Should have sent it back. Don't advertise blackened then have zero spices on it. Whole meal was super bland. Quality of the steak was only marginal. Tough to cut. Service was fine.

The meat was tender. But, I'm not American, who is used to having, or who eats lots of salty gravy, or gravy for that, unless it's Thanksgiving meal, even then, I'm not a gravy person. But, upon seeing my food, with 'so thick', 'so brown' gravy wasn't pleasing to me. Hubby, who grew up, whose family eat gravy with almost anything over potatoes (never on rice mind you), loved it! I'm not sure, if I prefer having Saltine Crackers best than what I'm having tonight. I took 3/4ths of my food, to eat with some vegetables. We also ordered soup of the day, which was chicken noddle soup with tomato base. I love that! The dinner salad, was also good. Both were shared. We came here, craving for some BBQ Ribs, I guess, but the Beef Sandwich came close. Maybe, if we stop here again, I'll try others from the menu, like Hamburger with Mushroom, my 2nd choice.

After getting sat down, we just... waited. For about 10-15 minutes, nobody showed up. Eventually a server came and took our order in a very disinterested fashion. We ordered a cocktail, the bruschetta appetizer, and then a burger, the king salmon and a plate of chicken pasta in white sauce for the little one. Everything took forever to come out (even the drink), nobody came out to check or refill waters in the 90 minutes we were there. Cocktail (Spring Break) - 5/5 great! Bruschetta - 3/5. Generally good but the bread was carbonized and as hard as a rock. Burger + fries - 3/5. Burger looked sad but was actually pretty tasty, if a little overcooked. Fries looked great (hand cut) but upon us closer inspection in the low light, you could see they were 50% those tiny peel pieces that get burned when frying. Guys! You are supposed to take those pieces out! Salmon - 3/5. Kind of... fine. A little fishy, not really what i expect for King salmon. Chicken pasta for toddler - 4/5. Actually this was delicious (if a bit overcooked) and it will my leftover lunch (toddler didn't eat it but that isn't the pasta's fault). Total bill for everyone, with tip: $126 So pretty mediocre food, downright bad service, and premium pricing. It's a pass from me!

The tables were clean and well kept, and the use of "half umbrellas" against the side of a building was a thoughtful touch. We were seated right away, and our drink orders taken right away. Our server did an excellent job, although he apologized for not coming back in time to bring me another Black Butte Porter (which I didn't plan to refill, anyway; even though it was excellent on tap). We placed an order for the "Bavarian Pretzel" appetizer, which was advertised to have a "mustard sauce" with it, and we also paid extra for their "Queso Cheese Dip". The bread itself was quite delicious, but the mustard sauce was just honey mustard salad dressing (disappointing), and the cheese appeared to be melted processed pepper jack cheese. The cheese dip was good with the bread, but we had a lot of dip leftover after the 3 pieces of bread. For a main course, I went with the Spicy Jalapeno Burger, but opted for Crispy Chicken, instead of a hamburger patty. The burger was massive, and consisted of multiple crispy chicken tenders, instead of one large chicken patty -- which is all good, but did make it tricky to eat, as the multiple pieces wanted to slide around. It was very good, but I think I would try the actual burger next time. I chose French fries for my side, and was disappointed that they were "battered" fries, which are not my favorite. The portion was also a little on the skimpy side. I would definitely come back again, even if there are a few small things that keep me from giving top marks.
