As fas as hiking, this summer weather is pretty hot and humid, therefore I was not able to hike as far as I wanted to. I definitely want to return here again for the view. There were plenty of parking and a few people swimming. There were restrooms nearby and changing room.

Super clean and really nice place, I mean its still out there in the motel looking on the outside so at first wasn't expecting too much and was pleasantly surprised, the offer breakfast in the mornings as well which was pretty standard for a lot of motels. You know the usual sausage gravy and biscuits, eggs, toast fruit yogurt, and such. I well warn you the bed was not up to my standard of comfort though, it was a stiff one and wasn't the most comfortable for us, I guess its just not what were use too, it was ok as far as age and such it seem fairly new maybe a year old I guess, just a bit to hard for me. If your an outdoor person this is close to a lot of trails and other outdoor places to see, we loved the trails near by and had a nice time there. We were there during the :off season" so that probably had a lot to do with what it was nice to be there because there was hardly any traffic or people on the trails. I have never been to this part of Missouri before so It was a new experience for use. I will go back and probably stay at this location again and add my air mattress to the bed.

This was our first weekend camping at Perryville RV resort and we were really happy with our stay…read more The campgrounds were clean. Bathroom and shower houses were clean. Playground and jump pad for the kids. Nice shaded drive thru lots. We got a buddy lot with my in laws so our kids could play together in between. Everyone, including employees, were very nice and respectful. Check-in had clear instructions and they come pick up your trash for you. They had a ton of fun activities for Halloween and we plan on coming back next summer to check out the pool! They also had golf carts to rent. Pet friendly was very nice as we brought our senior dog but I wish the leashed policy was enforced a little more. 9/10 for that but we will be back!

I was told all rooms are fully booked as they had a wedding and asked me to call the 3rd part I booked through I booked this via capital one travel portal and spoke with them, and decided to stay because it was late We were surprised that someone knocks on our room door at 10:30 pm so aggressively, and the person defines himself as owner of the hotel , he spoke in inappropriate loud way without any respect to other residents who were sleeping at such late time including my wife who waked up so afraid He came, and instead of apologizing to us for all this inconvenience, he is an argumative person and so proud that all his rooms lack doors between room and toilet. he said that the noise of AC is normal !! He questioned why you requested a refund !! I explained that I told Capital One that I was going to stay as it was late, he kept arguing after this. I never met in my entire life, such an uncultured rude hotel owner. He wants to force people to accept his missy hotel instead of fixing the problems and ensuring customer satisfaction I have attached photos and a video to show the noise of the AC It is his responsibility as a hotel owner to ensure that the room is working well and fix all these before customer checks in. I don't recommend this place to anyone. It is a so old hotel that lacks maintenance Unless it was late and my wife was tired, I would leave to another place.

They have 2 courtesy cars (when working) that are easy to use to get to the numerous restaurants in Perryville and in Chester across the river. Al's Diner is nearby and is a great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The FBO is nice with clean bathrooms, shower, recliners, water and coffee. Greg G has kept it well stocked with snacks and soda for a small price. Fuel is competitively priced. The only caution is the airport manager is not pleasant, and will not help you if you have a problem. She seems to only care about business from the Weststar company on the other side of the airport. She has refused to allow transients into empty hangers in bad weather, claimed to not have a key to the tenant hanger when one forgot his key, hidden the courtesy car keys to prevent certain people from using the car, refused to let the tug be used to move disabled aircraft, refused to allow emergency repair work to be done on aircraft, and then apparently notified the FAA when the aircraft had to be flown to another airport. When we have tried to bring flight students in for a week of training that needed hotels and would be spending money in the community, she told them to their face that she did not care and caused them to go elsewhere. It is a nice airport, a great community and a good place to stop on the weekend when the airport manager is not present.
