I can't speak for the competitiveness of the gas prices but, on the surface, this seems to be a well-run establishment. The inside tells a similar story, until you reach the bathrooms. They were sub-par. Not, perhaps, by the standards of gas stations, but by the standards of disease-free human beings they were pretty gross. I don't know what it is about gas stations that expects you to shift your paradigm of cleanliness but I refuse to submit. Gross is gross, and that's the end of it.

I have four significant pet peeves with this Sam's Club…read more.. As anyone who has been to a Sam's Club knows, the safety straps for children in the cart catch on the other carts when they are inserted into each other. This is well known, so why doesn't Sam's Club do something to fix it? Then on customer service, if you buy something that needs to be retrieved from the electronics cage, there is never an employee there to retrieve it. There's no button or way to call an employee so you have to wait around for minutes until you can get attention of an employee who always acts annoyed. In contrast, Costco has a friendly staff member waiting at their electronics room to retrieve your purchased item. Next pet peeve is one against customers. Customers leave the shopping carts in the corrals every which way resulting in shopping carts sticking out into the drive lanes. It only takes three seconds to insert the shopping cart into an existing line of carts...if we all would just do that. Lastly, the traffic and how you have to drive into and out of this Sam's Club absolutely needs to be reworked. And it feels like Sam's doesn't care about these issues. If Costco were more convenient, Sam's would never again see me.

The plus side is that the Premium gas was significantly cheaper but the card machine wasn't able to read my Costco membership card. I had to scan the QR code from the Costco app. When I was about to leave, the other worker told me to turn my car around instead of going straight in order to exit the area. How was I supposed to know the pathing here when there are no clear indication? This is just poorly-managed station, just like its associated warehouse in this particular location.

Always busy - plenty of carts…read more They finally moved the carts so you don't have to walk in the street to get back to your car- now they need to add a ramp off the side walk- my paper towels fell off going down the curb (I seen some broken eggs on the ground from someone else) The store has mostly organic food, shelf food, vegetables and fruit. I can't get some every day things that are not organic. Even if really busy the checkout is quick. Prices are about the same as a sale at other places.

The store is always clean and the staff here is very helpful, even to the point of walking with you to find something. I try , but fail, to stay away from the bakery....they have the best croissants I know of.... And the baked goods are always fresh and delicious. Even the cheesecake is awesome. There are certain things I buy here often and enjoy the samples to try new things. We can't leave without a stop at the food court! I like that there are multiple entry and exits at this location. Great local gas station right in downtown Youngsville…read more The gas pumps have been updated with better security regarding their chip readers - this alone makes me stop here to get gas (having my credit card info stolen at a local Exxon recently). This location has a good number of pumps, good gas prices and the convenience store is small but has great prices on snacks and drinks. Very clean inside as well. Rest rooms were clean as well. Definitely recommend this station if you're in Youngsville.
