This is hands down my most favorite Costco, especially when you take into consideration. The Apex Costco is similar distance from me. This Costco always has incredible customer service, I don't nearly feel as stressed and I feel like it's a lot spaced out. The parking lot has enough space for the area, I don't ever feel like it's too crowded, and the selection is always nice as well. The cafe has pretty good and fresh stuff, I will say. I wish I had some things like some other Costco's like the mint ice cream come up, but it's not the end of the world. I was at a Yelp event in Raleigh and was looking for gas under $4.00 per gallon - asked the Yelp Assistant and Costco popped up. And only a few minutes from where I was. I did not see signs or easy access to the gas station and after going around and around finally found it. This is the best costco in the area. Technically, the apex costco is slightly closer to me.But it's madhouse, so I decided to go to this one. First off the staff here is amazing. They are so helpful and the return process is so much more pleasant here. I just felt like apex is a bit too chaotic, and the staff can be kind of mean.So it's refreshing to have a positive costco experience now especially for the return area. First time here at this particular Costco. I love the space between aisles and the folks shopping seems chill and not being in a rush like other Costco's I've been. It's clean, organized and friendly atmosphere. I would like to try some of the crab legs and steaks in the future. I highly recommend this food warehouse called Costco. Very nice Costco. It is bigger than the one in Apex. I got gas here and was surprised to see three pumps at every lane instead of two. It really makes a difference. The store is nice and has a bigger selection of items than the other stores. I enjoyed walking around to see the different items. I did self check out so didn't have any interaction with an employee. I couldn't find a place to put my cart after shopping so took it back to the front of the store. I will go back to this store when in the area. read more

I've been here a few times since this location opened. Since becoming empty nesters a year or so ago, I've not had to visit because I don't need so much of anything. Luckily, a radio show I listen to in the morning talks about Costco chili. I had to try it, so I got a big container from the deli case. Took it home and paired with some cornbread. I will say that it is so good, I think I could win a chili cook-off just by taking it out of the container. I won't, but it is that good! Since then, I've found that most items can by halved and the other part frozen for later; eliminating waste. Great job Costco with this store! It is easier to get into the pentagon. That being said, the staff is always cheery as they check my membership one, two, three times. this is my favorite Costco to goto. We find great deals and it's not as busy as the other costcos. Maybe that's because they're so vigilant in making sure only the member is using the membership. The 1.50 hot dog deal makes a statement in a time where companies are skyrocketing prices to make a profit, not to mention the increasing cost of living. I appreciate that Costco has taken a stand on not trying to wring clients dry. I held out for a while on getting a membership, although many a friend tried to convince me to bite the bullet and get one. Now that I have one I can say I totally get it. read more

The warm, big, decadent filled of chocolate chips chocolate chip cookie is one of the best additions to their new 2024 menu. Now, they also have a strawberry sundae so it gets more complicated when it comes to choosing. get all three if you can't decide. So instead of just getting a chicken bake, pizza or hot dog, you have two other choices: roast beef sandwich and chicken Caesar salad. The only thing that they took off the menu is the churros. I would normally get some for school because they were a hit with kids. If you get anything at the food court, the workers are so fast and efficient. I love this Costco, but I do not love their washer and drier delivery installers. First, they messaged me ahead of time and asked me if I give tip to make sure I pay cash because they don't wanna pay taxes. Then when they got to my house, it didn't take more than five minutes to install. A week later my husband realizes they left at least 7 feet of dryer vent hose all wrapped kinked like five different directions and not even attached to the wall or the dryer. They did have the clamp on the hose, but it was ripped about a foot on both ends and just the ripped part was crappy attached to both and when my husband pulled out the washer just a foot and a half to get behind realized the hose wasn't even attached to the dryer. No wonder why when I dried clothes my New laundry room was super hot. read more

Then enjoy a delicious, cheap meal at their food court. Order at the kiosk then pick up your order when called. We recommend their hotdogs and chicken bake. We impatiently awaited the opening of this new location in Raleigh. We hoped it would be less crowded than other locations. It is slightly less crowded, but if you go at busy times (particularly when they have samples) expect a busy store and long lines. The employees at Costco are helpful and efficient. They keep shelves stocked and try to keep lines moving. Overall, we like this new location and recommend Costco to others. read more

The newest Costco warehouse is now open, Costco Garner! Officially it's still located in Raleigh but what can I say? The warehouse is one of the bigger ones I've seen with goods stacked high and deep. The layout is definitely different than the Wake Forest Road location so there are some slight adjustments. The only major issue is the roads leading to Costco Garner. Given it's a growing area but still pretty quiet, they are mostly 1 and 2-laners which make getting in and out trickier. Otherwise the store is large, clean and a good option, especially if you live in the hood. read more

The only reason I won't give Costco a 5!! is because I have to cruise all the way to Garner from Fayetteville. No Bueno. But other than that Costco is my go to for home, food and especially dog food. My pups love their food. This location is a little more secluded almost hidden compared to the other locations in Raleigh. Less people traffic!! I love Costco for prices, and most of their service, but the loss-prevention-line to leave the store is ridiculous, redundant, and offensive. "We don't really trust you...so we have to count your items," is the message it sends just moments after they just checked you out. I just walked away from the cashier 50 yard ago, and you have cameras. We also paid a membership to get in there. That is the only negative of the Costco experience, but that negative feeling is what you walk away with. I wish I could change that process for them. It can often be a long and slow line and many of us have placed to go. They often touch your stuff too, some of us don't want your hands on our groceries, knowing you touched everyone else's stuff too. Have the loss prevention people watching from cameras in the back, or put the checkout closer to the door, or just do away with it. The membership entry alone is enough to prevent much of the theft more common at other stores. read more

If you want a whole new addiction, I suggest going to Costco. I decided to check them out when they first opened because I'm nosy and wanted to see what they had going on. Well, now I'm obsessed. I love going and seeing what new products they have, what foods they are offering, and sampling the bites they have for sale. I honestly couldn't be happier with a lot of the products they have to offer. From prepared meals, frozen foods, fresh fruits and veggies, clothes, household utensils, and so much more it honestly almost has it all. And let's not forget the food court. Large slices of delicious pizza, hot dogs, soda, and more for you to snack on either before or after shopping, I promise you won't be disappointed. If you haven't been to a Costco yet, they are definitely a must visit but be warned, it might create an addiction lol. read more

Beware of tire scam & warranty scam! I paid $807 for 65 l mile tires and they lasted 2 years, 35 k miles est for two front ones and 2.5 years 43k miles for back ones. What about that warranty? Nope. Its bs. You have to have had tires rotated every 5-7 l miles or too bad they can be trash in a year its your problem. But rotating is to avoid bald spots you say, and there are zero bald spots and all even wear. They don't care, just take an out @ say no warranty. Seems like a total scam. Im a mom, drive slowly, no gravel, gentle braking. Ive never seen tires crumble in the middle, esp $8o7 65k mile Michilans. Ive bought more tires for more tires than I can count, car collector here. This was the cheapest and worst tires, worst warranty as it was set up bs. Forever flat repair? Nope! Not covered, tires too trashed to be fixed. So your horrible product is so bad it cancels my warranty? Manager says they were overinflated. Nope, sorry, my car has a sensor that honks non stop if over inflated, not possible. He said he would be happy to charge me $915 for 50k mile tires of an off brand. Isnt that way more? Yes! Happy to rob you. No thanks! Ive bought tires at many places and used warranties before. The cashiers who work here are so unpleasant. They treat all the customers awfully, they speak to us like we've never been to a store before. They almost talk down to the customer. I wish I could say this was a one time experience but it's every time a person in my family goes. It makes me not want to go back just so I don't have to deal with the cashiers. So many thanks need to go out to everyone at the tire center team who helped me replace all four of my tires and spent half an hour with me to find the best deal! I can't remember their names and I feel awful about it. But if his badge says he's been working since 2021 and he has blonde hair that's him! That handsome bastard is incredible! Also, first day there, took me an hour standing in front of the kiosks to get a pizza I ordered. But they had literally just opened and were going through the growing pains that every opening site has. Got a few free delicious churros out of it so who cares! Never had that problem since!
