I had stayed here before and genuinely enjoyed the friendly community, so I booked again in the summer of 2025 expecting a similar experience. Instead, it turned into one of the worst travel experiences of my life. On the night of July 20, I returned to my shared room and immediately noticed something was wrong -- my bed had been moved. I checked my belongings and realized that several important items were missing, including my passport, travel documents, and credit cards. I had intentionally left these in the hostel thinking they would be safer there than carrying them around the city. Sadly, I was wrong. I soon learned that I wasn't the only victim. Several other guests were robbed the same night. One guest told me they had lost over $4,000 USD in cash and valuables. This was not an isolated incident -- it was clear that multiple rooms had been targeted, which makes the hostel's lack of security even more unacceptable. The hostel's security measures are shockingly inadequate for a city known for its rising petty crime. There is no on-site security guard. Entry is controlled only by a keypad at the front door and key cards for the rooms -- both of which clearly failed that night. The absence of basic, reliable security systems (such as comprehensive CCTV coverage and proper lock mechanisms) is alarming. What made matters worse was the complete lack of preparedness from the staff. When I reported the robbery to the front desk, the woman working there was polite but clearly untrained for such a serious situation. She didn't call the police -- I had to call them myself. When the police arrived, she didn't know how to retrieve or review the security camera footage. This is a clear sign that the hostel has not provided its staff with the necessary training or protocols for emergencies. After the incident, the manager sent me an email apologizing. I replied requesting the security footage for my case, but to this day I have received no response. This lack of follow-up and cooperation further demonstrates negligence and a lack of accountability. Based on my experience, I believe this hostel does not prioritize the safety of its guests. They appear more focused on maintaining a "laid-back" atmosphere than implementing the most basic security measures or training staff to handle emergencies. This negligence created an environment where thieves could operate freely and leave multiple guests devastated. It is unfortunate that I have to write this review, but I feel a strong responsibility to warn others. I now tell every traveler I meet -- both online and in person -- to avoid Onefam Les Corts Hostel. Barcelona is already a city where you must be cautious about theft, and staying here will only make you more vulnerable. Choose accommodation that values your safety, because this place absolutely does not.

It said the item came with fries so for 17 euros I actually expected a real portion of fries since potatoes are cheap. The dish was mostly meat to my surprise with a side of potato sticks and 2 crackers. Not sure what to do with the sticks since you cant use it to scoop or pair with the beef tartare anyways. Overall was disappointing to say the least. Will not come back but many people will wander off to the streets as it is on a main street i am sure.

Late arrivals can be tedious, even with a reservation (security is important in a world-class city). The 'free breakfast' was probably worth the price. The common area isn't really large enough and is constantly packed with people looking for a power outlet (there clearly aren't enough of them) and struggling with the flaky WiFi. There are more mobile devices than the place is really prepared to support. The location is very convenient, it's a block from Avinguda Diagonal and an easy 15 min walk from the 'Sants' train station (the main one in the city). The bus leaves from right out front and goes directly to Plaça Espanya. From there the shuttle goes to/from the airport about every five minutes, even less during peak hours. There are lots of retail opportunities everywhere - food, fashions, beverages, groceries, electronics, ATMs, 'top-up' cell phone stores and so much more - all within a ten minute walk from the front door, in this very busy, but also very picturesque, urban neighborhood. It's serves the purpose if you don't need to spend a lot of time 'indoors' and you don't mind maintaining a very small 'personal space' (especially in the 'dorm rooms') when you are in. Stayed here about five times in a two year stretch and will probably be here again.

Although this place was much better than I expected for a hostel--a/c that works, a big locker that…read morefit all my stuff (Ryan Air sized bag), free breakfast (though not great), wifi in the rooms (despite what other reviewers said, though I was on the 1st floor), and a relatively central location, there are many improvements that could make it even better. It would have been great if a towel was included, if hand soap was available in the bathroom, if a mat of some sort was on the bathroom floor so showering folks didn't trek their wet into the main room, if the beds were more comfortable (and regularly checked for bugs; my roommate was bitten all over), if the ladder up to the top bunk didn't hurt the feet, and if the breakfast was a bit better (or varied over the days). Also, the kitchen needs some work--there was one semi-sharp knife (the rest just butter knives), the dishes were usually dirty when you went to use them, and my food was taken by someone else in the hostel and the staff weren't able to offer any solution. (I asked for a free meal ticket as an act of good faith, but they said no.) Aside from this, they need more and more comfortable common spaces (e.g., living room to watch tv and tables with with more outlets for laptop work), as even when the wifi does work in your room, sitting on your bed is no bueno. That said, better common spaces might also give this place more character and make interacting easier, which is a bit lacking in its current state. As for the wifi, it's available but you have to reregister every 24 hours, which is a bit of a nuisance. Last but not least, providing the rules to foreigners in their home language would have been great so that they weren't noisy at all hours of the night. I got nearly no sleep for five days straight! Bottom line: I mostly hate hostels and hostel living because I have always gotten something stolen, but this stay exceeded my expectations in many ways (mostly because only my food was stolen), so 3 stars for that! But, it's still a hostel, so unless you're prepared to work your sleep schedule (and therefore travel schedule) around the noisy ones, stay elsewhere.

Bathrooms were relatively clean, although shower stalls were a bit small to maneuver around. The bar on the main floor was great. It cost only about 2 euros for a beer and 3 euros for a sangria. They also offered free breakfast every day consisting of bread, cereal, and muffins, along side some coffee and juice. The vibe was great though. Everyone was really friendly from the staff to the others staying, which made it a lot of fun to venture off to the pub crawls together. The front desk was also super convenient. You can get a sim card there, tickets to Parc Guelle and Sagrada Familia (a much need as you can't get in without advance tickets), as well as rentable beach towels. Overall, place is good for young travellers and worth staying.

The hostel was really clean, there was no noise disturbance at night (except my mates snoring) and I always felt safe in my room. HOWEVER I did come across a man as I was checking who was claiming things had been stolen from him. This is always a worry with sharing with strangers but the security measures were adequate, its the guests who tend not to use them properly. Other than that though I found this place really good and I met a lot of interesting people in the bar. They also sell alcohol here for a good price and there are cans of lager in the vending machine so you can drink 24/7 if thats what you want! Another good thing is there are busy bar streets from the hostel to the city centre so you dont have to go anywhere dodgy. Stick to these touristy streets though as there was one night my friend and me stumbled across an intimidating hooker lined street. If you dont want to stray far from the hostel at night, there is a fab bar just around the corner with beer taps on every table so you can drink away and pay the tab at the end. This bar also does fantastic food and I would recommend the burgers, I had the club burger twice (disgusting when you see it!) and its so big you cant get it all in your mouth!

It was so easy to make friends and socialize, especially with the walking tours and hostel dinners. I've had bad experiences with party hostels but still wanted to be social, so this was a good balance of a social hostel that was not too party-centric. The room was very clean with huge drawers under the bed and a small cupboard by the head of each bed. My regular lock didn't fit in the drawer lock, so you need a skinny padlock. It was sometimes difficult to share one en-suite sink, shower, and toilet with five other girls, but I'm glad they were each separate from each other. The wifi was very weak from my bed, so I had to walk towards the inside of the room or go to the common area for internet. The common area was great for working and virtual meetings. There is a small rooftop with a bar and tiny pool. They have nice computers in the lobby you can use. The hostel is in a great location. It is a 15-minute walk to La Sagrada Familia and to Casa Batllo (opposite direction). They have daily walking tours that are very informative and rely on tips. Breakfast is buffet-style and a little pricey at 7€. The dinners are delicious and only 12€. They are three-course meals with two free drinks (sangria or beer). The night tours are 15€ and take you to two bars then a club. They include club entry and three free shots.

The location was perfect - walking distance to anything you could want from cafes and public transportation to tourists sites like La Sagrada and other Gaudi architecture. We stayed in a 4-bunk room with it's own bathroom. The bunks had little cubbies to place small things like your phone or glasses at night. And there was storage beneath for luggage. I liked the layout of the kitchen - tables around the perimeter and at the center was where communal dinners were made/served. We tried the paella but weren't blown away. The sangria on the other hand - who knew the boxed stuff tasted so good! There's even a shared refrigerator where you can store food or chill wine (be sure to label your items). We even partook in a night out with others staying at the hostel. It was nice to meet people, and enjoy a night out at 3 local bars that we might not have visited otherwise. The location alone is worth it, not to mention the price and cleanliness.

This place is...fun!…read more Ok, first off, it's mere Euros to spend the night here in what is otherwise a very expensive city, so let's roll with price = value. Myself, my husband, my sister, and our dorm mate from Lisbon landed in Barcelona around 1 am. Our dorm mate had a 13 hour layover until his flight to Dubai, so we told him where we were going, how much it was, and he decided to split a taxi fare with us and rent a bed instead of sleeping at the airport. We were dropped off in front of the Dream Cube Hostel at about 2 am and were buzzed in by the front desk. My group got checked in and our friend waited while the receptionist showed us to our room, which was pretty near by. There's a large common rooom area where people were still on the computer, and a very decent kitchen: actually one of the better one's I've seen on the trip. Our dorm had 12 cubes in it. Basically, it's a long hallway with cubbies built into the wall and drawers you can lock along the floor. We were given clean sheets and had to make our own beds, which, as you can imagine, at 2 am I basically just unfolded the sheets and laid down on them as is. The pillow and mattress was comfy and a curtain pulls over a rod that extends the length of your cube, so I closed it and flipped on the light above my head and plugged my phone in to charge before totally passing out. The room itself was hot and muggy. The window cracked open, but there was no way to get a breeze or draft pulling air through, so that kind of sucked. My group maxed out the cubes, so 12 bodies in a still room was a little rough, so keep a waterbottle by your head. The next morning we got up at a pretty decent hour and got ready. Our dorm mates were up and we had a good time chatting with an Irishman who was bunked below me as well all reorganized our stuff. The reason for the 4 star review is the bathroom. While there are separate mens and women's bathrooms, there's not a lot of privacy. During busy times, both doors are constantly swinging open, and the way the shower doors are set, they swing open at an angle and it's very much possible you walk out and an open hallway might be facing you as someone walks into the bathroom. So just be hostel ready with your towel drapped over the shower door and wrap yourself up or dress yourself in the shower. It's awkward, but the good news is it's not dirty! The sinks were covered in water, but I blame the girls before me for not having the decency to wipe down the sinks rather than blame limited hostel staff. We checked out once we were all ready and the guy at the front desk locked up our luggage for us while we wandered around Barcelona. He told us of some good places to eat, gave us a map, and we headed out. The Dream Cube Hostel isn't right in the middle of any action, but it really close and totally within walking distance. So Aside from the funky laid out bathrooms (which might be perfectly acceptable to Europeans and Asians, but North Americans might be a little put off as my group was), Dream Cube hostel was clean, the staff was friendly, and above all CHEAP! If you did the math, you'll know we only stayed here for about 8 hours total and we couldn't justify spending more for what we were gonna use. Therefore, price vs value was totally spot on and really good.

Near a lot of tourist attractions and a lot of day tours start nearby as well. Area is always busy with people, so I always felt safe even at night. Our new roommates were great and our foul experience with the welch guys was a good joke through out the trip. The staff was great and our tour guide from the hostel was amazing as well. All except one dude who was such a try hard acting like he was protecting the Korean border or something. Overall if you don't mind risking your vacation/sanity to chance and can handle wild stuff happening around you this place may be worth the price.
