Not as dimly lit as other tapas places in the city. Expensive fish and seafood tapas. The chef is crazy about goat cheese adding into every other tapa, including the cheesecake. Tortilla - coldish temp. I get it's not supposed to be hot, but not like it came from the fridge either. This was a fail. Didn't taste fresh, probably not even made on the same day. Expecting freshness with Spanish food is a big deal. At least it was big like a door stop wedge. It comes with aioli, this was tasty, but I normally don't see any sauce with Spanish tortilla. Patata bravas - good surface crisp. The red sauce was good, but not enough, I suppose you can ask for more. Pumpkin cream tapas - good creaminess mixed with some pumpkin pieces. Interesting addition, don't typically see pumpkin on tapas menus. Tempura pepper - lightly deep fried. You have to be a goat cheese fan for this one, it's pretty stuffed all the way up in this one. Overall, not as small portions as you might think when you hear tapas and if you're willing to have veg tapas, prices are reasonable. Had to ask for cheque twice, otherwise acceptable service.

It's no real Spanish tapas restaurant but it will suit when you are hungry and in the mood for some good food. Service is hit or miss. Attentive for the most part until it's time to leave. C'est la vie. The ambiance is average, busy and average noise level inside. Nothing special about the decor. Food was good but hey, I was hungry. Croquettes were good, I favored the spinach and cheese above the ham and chicken. Calamari was fresh and nicely paired with bacon and squid ink aioli. The Spanish tortillas was more like a quiche, a big cut of potatoes, egg, onions and cheese. Not bad. Best dish was the sautéed prawns in chili garlic oil. Super flavorful along with bread for dipping. The red sangria was weak. A sweet version of wine with only apples. They need to work on it. You will get a decent meal but don't expect anything to write home about.

Really cozy environment and they're quite busy in the evening. The service was great and they were really accommodating when we walked in since we didn't have a reservation. The food on the other hand, was a bit on the pricey end for what you got. The flavors just didn't seem to get there. The quality of their ingredients were on point, but the taste just didn't do it for me. When I hear Spanish tapas, I envision vibrant food. Didn't really get that here. I ordered the Perol de Cordero (lamb), Chorizo de León (chorizo on toast), and the Bacalao en Tempura y Miel de Trufa (cod). The cod was decent. A very delicate fish with a subtle honey. The chorizo was delicious and very rich and the toast I had was crispy. My friend's toast was slightly burned and you could get that burnt taste which wasn't too pleasant. The lamb was the best. I had one that was juicy and delicious. The other was on the dryer side (they probably cooked these around the same time but the size difference caused the dryness). All in all, a decent meal but I don't think it warrants the high price.

Walking around to find something for dinner and walked in here on the 'hey lots of people - must know something.... Excellent tapas. Gordal Olives with orange and oregano a savoury must have. Also Chilli garlic prawns were great. Wait staff - Jorge was my server - beyond helpful. Will return on my next trip to London!

We stopped by during an afternoon tea time for some small bites. I felt the service is quiet misleading, and they tend to add changes beyond the menu. When we looked at the menu at the entrance and the cured meat display looks attempting, we decide to come inside. Once seated, the receptionist asked us whether we want some olive when we are deciding on the menu. I particular told him that if "it's just samples, sure." (w assuming it's complementary) So he served us a small bowl of the green olive (w orange) inside, which latter on appeared on our bill for full charge. we didn't argue because we did eat it, but it wasn't clear at the beginning. I ordered a grilled octopus leg w mash potato and jarred chicken liver w tossed bread. Octopus is quiet tasty, like other reviews says, but it took a while, which was a little disappointing because we told them that we are on the go, and our waiter didn't warn us about what dishes are quick or not. Chicken liver is not bad, but the tossed bread is as hard as rocks. we have to ask for regular bread to eat w the chicken liver paste, and later on told the waitress that it was very hard (not just crunchy). She said I am sorry, and it's the way it's made. When we got our bills, bread was extra 2 pounds, and 12.5% gratitude was added automatically, even though we didn't enjoy our service at all. it's quiet a disappointing dining experience.

Close to the touristic hustle and bustle of Exhibition Road, this refuge from the people deluge opened its kitchens under the guidance of chef José Pizarro. The atmospheric venue brings the familiar and popular tapas menu of their Borough market tapas to Kensington: padrón peppers, battered cod, Catalan spinach, prawns in garlic and many more. There is a Jamonería on the ground floor, making a full range of cured hams and charcuterie available both on the menu and to the shopper. Perfect respite for a post museum cultural chillax.

    Octopus leg - magnificent!

Excellent service - phenomenal food - cozy with outside seating available (love that!) Tapas were excellent - can't say enough great things about the charcuterie platter - but the octopus leg is to die for - so delish!

The famous Juan Pedro Domecq melted in your mouth, was full of flavor and a must try. While the Tiger Prawns were very flavorful, they are a bit messy to eat as you have to peak them with your fingers and they are drenched in butter/oil and seasoning. Other items like the Patatas bravas are all pretty standard. Just remember even the Ribeye is a "tapas" sized serving.

The sangria was refreshing and crisp even when I was the last person dining before they closed and luckily the fruit inside the sangria was still fresh! Before coming in I was disappointed with another restaurant and although I was unaware they would be closing soon the lovely hostess seated me and I was still able to get some amazing food. Great gluten free options for it being a Spanish tapas restaurant where most of the time they cook with a lot of gluten. The Spanish Octopus truly encapsulated the flavors of Spain. The mix of different spices engrained in the chipotle aioli sauce and the purée of the potato with the fresh crisp octopus was beyond. Manchego cheese and anchovies appetizer was also great although I wish the cheese came with more jam as whatever it was made of (it had hints of apple) was also phenomenal. Friendly staff and also great fun interior design (as I always appreciate a restaurant that has a nice ambiance). Would definitely love to come back and highly recommend for anyone to visit in London.

The manager here was incredibly kind and managed to seat me between reservations anyway, which I truly appreciated. Unfortunately, I didn't quite finish my meal in time before the next party arrived, but instead of rushing me, they graciously moved me to the bar so I could enjoy my dessert. What really struck me was the atmosphere. While I was sitting there, several people popped in just to say hello to the staff, which speaks volumes about how welcoming and family-esque this place feels. Hands down some of the best wait staff I've experienced. The food was fantastic. I had the ham croquettes, white wine, and churros with chocolate and having just been in Barcelona recently, I can honestly say this was the closest I've found to authentic tapas in London. I'll absolutely be back the next time I'm in London. A gem of a place with heart, hospitality, and incredible food.
