This place feels like Puerto Rico's answer to Times Square, with a massive open plaza wrapped in towering LED screens, music pumping, and energy bouncing off every corner. Opened in 2021, it's a 475,000-square-foot playground packed with restaurants, bars, shops, a movie theater, live music venues, and even a zipline flying overhead yeah, you read that right. What makes it special isn't just the flash it's the heartbeat. The central plaza alone is a 360-degree digital spectacle with millions of pixels lighting up concerts, events, and just everyday nightlife, turning it into a gathering spot for locals and travelers alike. Whether you're bouncing between bites, catching a show at the Coca-Cola Music Hall, or just soaking it all in, this is one of those "don't skip it" stops. It's modern San Juan flexing a little loud, bright, and alive and if you're hopping around the city, it's an easy honorable mention that turns into a full-blown night before you even realize it.

It has a bit of a Touristy vibe, especially with nearby Hotels and visiting Cruise Ships, but it's a nice place for everyone to visit non-the-less. They really take security seriously here, with Metal Detectors and a Security Officer at each entrance. Parking is paying, but conveniently close. We were here twice. The first time, it was during the week. We stopped at a Sports Bar to have a couple of drinks (which was nice), but unfortunately, there were no events and it was raining, so we didn't stay long. The second time was on a weekend. There was Live Music and it was bustling with both Tourists and Locals. This was a totally different vibe and we had a great time!! I definitely recommend this place for entertainment, but for the best experience, come whenever there is an Event or Live Music scheduled.

For cocktail hour they served the sangria when we had chosen the blue hacienda. Minor things like that that were rather inconvenient but didn't ruin our day. The venue is absolutely beautiful and our wedding was amazing

I wish I didn't have to write this review, but after multiple emails, messages, and empty promises…read morethat someone would reach out, we've been completely ignored. Our wedding was in December, and it's now almost February--still no response from the venue or the owner. The issue? We paid extra for a higher-tier bar package, only to find that our bar signage was hidden, and the bartender had no idea how to make any of the drinks. Classic cocktails like Old Fashioneds and Negronis were made poorly (when they were made at all), and in the end, most guests resorted to drinking only wine, champagne, or beer--completely negating the premium package we paid for. We made menus for the drinks and they magically disappeared. To make matters worse, we were previously assured via email that the bartender was experienced, only to later find out that they were hired the day before the event. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable. We reached out multiple times to resolve this fairly, including requesting a partial refund for a service we didn't receive. We were met with silence. Someone on Instagram keeps telling us that "someone will reach out," yet here we are, still waiting. If you're considering this venue, be warned: they have no problem taking your money, but when an issue arises, they disappear. We expected better, and at the very least, a response. Mind you, the location is spectacular but the fact that they hired someone without experience to work a wedding is shady and unfair to the guests and couple who paid out of pocket to make this an experience. It was an experience but not one that we smile about when it comes to talking about the bar saturation . 90% of guests are all industry people. Thanks for not responding. I tried.

They recommended so many amazing places to eat and shop, in and out of the property. The prices for food on the property were reasonable and there were a lot of different options for food choices. The big Concha restaurant on the property is absolutely gorgeous at night but it is a bit pricier than the other food options on the property. There are 4 pool ameneties you can choose from, with one being adults only. I loved that you have the different pool options. However, I wish the pools were bigger. I felt like it made more sense to have fewer pools but, bigger to fit more people but, we were comfortable in each. The beach is beautiful and every day there were plenty of surfers riding the high tide waves. It wasn't the best beach for swimming since the tide was so high and waves were really strong but, lifeguards are on the property to help those who have trouble getting in and out. We stayed close to shore to prevent any accidents and enjoyed watching surfers ride the waves each day.

La Concha is probably a 3.5 star experience overall, and I have a hunch it varies a bit depending…read moreon which room or staff members you get. We booked an "ocean view" room, which was really more of a nice 45-degree angle looking down the length of the beach. Still enjoyable, just something to keep in mind when booking. Some reviews mentioned dirty rooms, but our experience on the 8th floor was the complete opposite. Our room was spotless when we arrived, and housekeeping returned it to that same condition every day. Honestly, it was probably the best housekeeping service I can remember at a hotel. On the other hand, we had the same A/C issues others have mentioned. The room simply wouldn't get cool enough the first two nights, but the engineering team fixed it when we finally inquired. The room itself worked really well for a family. The pullout sofa was surprisingly nice, the shower was very spacious, having the toilet behind its own separate door made getting everyone ready much easier, and the room key is a wristband, so it's easy to keep with you all the time. Unlike some of the other places we visited, it's also removable if you'd rather not wear it. The only other area I'd mention that could be improved is the front desk and concierge. There were a few times they seemed unmanned when we walked through the lobby, and while everyone was friendly, we didn't get the sense they had enough firsthand knowledge of the area to tailor recommendations to different interests, ages, or travel styles. The hotel definitely has a nightlife vibe. Every evening the lobby filled with people heading out in club attire, and the casino is a nice little bonus if that's your thing. The lobby itself is large, clean, and often had a good balance of customers being served and available space for others. The pools were nice, though I'd like to see the third pool reopened before maybe considering it a four-star stay. The beach is pleasant, with plenty of room to relax in the sun, but be warned that the hotel advises against swimming, and multiple locals elsewhere told us the same thing because of the currents. Plenty of people were wading well out or swimming close to shore, but I'd be nervous if I had kids venturing out very far or swimming alone. If swimming is your goal, there are safer beaches just a short Uber, taxi ride, or even a reasonable walk away. (I think the closest one recommended to us was about a half mile to the west.) The location is another big plus. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, Old San Juan is just a quick Uber away, and the sushi bar in the hotel was surprisingly affordable and much better than I expected for hotel sushi. Overall, I'd probably stay here again if visiting that area. It has a great location, comfortable rooms, excellent housekeeping, and enough amenities to keep most people happy. Just go in expecting a lively atmosphere, and hopefully get a room with an A/C unit that's already behaving itself.
