This place is a nice place to walk around if your hungry. The vibe is great. There is music blasting. The screens are epic but there was nothing but commercials that night. I wish there was more to do than just eat. There are super long lines for some of the places. We had drinks at an outside bar. There is a movie theater but that's it. But it was worth the visit. Don't know if I would come back.

Vibrant place on weekends and it was fun place to visit. I would recommend any tourist to visit.

This place is awesome. A multi functional event and entertainment complex with huge screens, lights, restaurants and bars. Located near the convention center, this facility has a couple of outdoor stages, the Coca Cola Music Hall and zip lines. My time here I just walked around to observe the area. Since then, I have attended serval shows, seen live performances and enjoyed some really good food and drinks.

Had a lot of fun at the Distrito TMobile. No convention was in town at the time I visited, so the crowd was mostly local on my visit. Mostly food venues from restaurants to fast food with a few shops. It was very crowded on my visit, but I enjoyed to energy, music, mojitos and food. It's an expensive night out, but worth it on a visit to Puerto Rico.

This is a must visit and stay if you're waiting to catch a cruise! It is less than a mile from the port. There are lots of different restaurants you can dine at, depending on what you have a taste for, a movie theatre, and a spectacular outdoor sitting area with tons of rocking chairs! They sometimes have concerts and at night it lights up! It's definitely a lot of fun!

My first time here. So much to do and eat. The venue has an arcade , zip line , stages for performers and tons of restaurants. I personally like all the options available. I happen to go when a graduation was taking place. I was able to eat after a short waiit. I would absouletly go again and hopefully no ig event will be going om and I think I will explore more options.

Free to get in. They have multiple restaurants, a movie theatre and an outdoor show area. They were playing stranger things and it was fun. It's a great place to visit if you're visiting Puerto Rico

    Stage at La Central.

So many choices to eat, drink, and listen and be entertained with others in Puerto Rico. I enjoyed the cigar lounge at La Central and also the food at SaZon delicious. There are too many to list but it best to come in the evening to get a true sense of the T-Mobile District.

As I have mentioned earlier the second I Landen in Puerto Rico it started to rain real bad, so I got sad. After having early dinner I have decided to give this place a look which was nearby from the restaurant. I did have to take a cab because of the rain. I live in NY & Times Square is one of my favorite places to be! But still I enjoyed this place a lot. There were some private events happening so I just stand there to watch for a bit. I have not realized how many restaurants this area has, if I knew I would have just came straight here & eat something! But it is what it is lol..! Kids will love this place, lots of arcades. Too many bars lol! It has a different kind of vibe I gotta say, it would have been much more fun if I had a friend with me. It's definitely a group kinda place! I ended up eating ice-cream & It was too expensive but what can you do! I was already full & ice-cream looked too good ! After an hour I was getting bored & irritated because of the rain. Even got tired of taking pictures with cool lights & reflection from the rain water. So I ended up watching a movie on the theater. So far my first night in San Juan was good, I did have a good time here. People were so nice & friendly!

This is such a beautiful space to see! When we got there, there was a live DJ playing music. It was a great vibe! The huge screens in there are absolutely spectacular!! I've never seen anything like it. They have lots of different eating places and I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE MEXICAN SPOT! YUCK! They have lawn games, artificial turf with chairs to sit and chill. Super cool spot for kids as well. If you're in San Juan..make sure to visit. My kids loved it!

    Art

Very lively and plenty to do. Live music and little stands selling local art. Also movie theater there.

Review is based on a four night stay. Overall, I recommend La Concha. It's a Marriott affiliate with some personality and class. Arrival: Arrived by Uber. Helpful doormen and luggage attendants. Check in: Overall good check in process. Marriott status acknowledged with a serious room upgrade to a suite. Room was not yet ready, and the receptionist gave us some free drink vouchers for the bar. Room (954): A spacious sweet. Living room included a colossal sectional, large TV, dresser, and breakfast table. The living room also included a Nespresso machine and a mini-refrigerator. Bedroom included a king bed with a bench and nightstands. One negative about this suite: lack of a desk. I was on business, and working from the sofa sectional got old fast. Bathroom: Excellent lighting. Spacious and clean shower. Bed: Decent but not great mattress. Sleep quality: Above average Patio: Nice patio with two chairs and a small table; really enjoyed drinking coffee on the patio watching the surf. WiFi: WiFi when it worked was generally fast. But I missed a video conference due to poor connectivity the day before we left. Housekeeping: Overall housekeeping was good, but the floors were not thoroughly cleaned before our arrival or during our stay. Pools and beach: Multiple pools to lounge by. Great poolside food and drink service. Nice beach (but it can be dangerous to swim at times) with typical seaweed issues. Staff: All of the hotel staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Great staff overall! Value: Overall good value Overall common area cleanliness: Excellent Misc Tips: (1) There are many decent restaurants within walking distance. (2) There's a large grocery store called SuperMax about 1 mile away. It's worth the Uber fare to stock up on everything from alcohol to snacks (including gifts to take home, such as Puerto Rican coffee for $2.95 / 8 ounce pack

We booked an "ocean view" room, which was really more of a nice 45-degree angle looking down the length of the beach. Still enjoyable, just something to keep in mind when booking. Some reviews mentioned dirty rooms, but our experience on the 8th floor was the complete opposite. Our room was spotless when we arrived, and housekeeping returned it to that same condition every day. Honestly, it was probably the best housekeeping service I can remember at a hotel. On the other hand, we had the same A/C issues others have mentioned. The room simply wouldn't get cool enough the first two nights, but the engineering team fixed it when we finally inquired. The room itself worked really well for a family. The pullout sofa was surprisingly nice, the shower was very spacious, having the toilet behind its own separate door made getting everyone ready much easier, and the room key is a wristband, so it's easy to keep with you all the time. Unlike some of the other places we visited, it's also removable if you'd rather not wear it. The only other area I'd mention that could be improved is the front desk and concierge. There were a few times they seemed unmanned when we walked through the lobby, and while everyone was friendly, we didn't get the sense they had enough firsthand knowledge of the area to tailor recommendations to different interests, ages, or travel styles. The hotel definitely has a nightlife vibe. Every evening the lobby filled with people heading out in club attire, and the casino is a nice little bonus if that's your thing. The lobby itself is large, clean, and often had a good balance of customers being served and available space for others. The pools were nice, though I'd like to see the third pool reopened before maybe considering it a four-star stay. The beach is pleasant, with plenty of room to relax in the sun, but be warned that the hotel advises against swimming, and multiple locals elsewhere told us the same thing because of the currents. Plenty of people were wading well out or swimming close to shore, but I'd be nervous if I had kids venturing out very far or swimming alone. If swimming is your goal, there are safer beaches just a short Uber, taxi ride, or even a reasonable walk away. (I think the closest one recommended to us was about a half mile to the west.) The location is another big plus. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, Old San Juan is just a quick Uber away, and the sushi bar in the hotel was surprisingly affordable and much better than I expected for hotel sushi. Overall, I'd probably stay here again if visiting that area. It has a great location, comfortable rooms, excellent housekeeping, and enough amenities to keep most people happy. Just go in expecting a lively atmosphere, and hopefully get a room with an A/C unit that's already behaving itself.

As…read moreMarriott Rewards members, we wanted to stay at a Marriott property, and we also wanted to be close to Isla Verde, where I stayed the last time I was in San Juan. We considered the San Juan Marriott Resort and the Courtyard by Marriott, but we felt the AC Hotel was in a better location for us. After visiting all three major Marriott properties during our trip, the AC is the quietest. If that is important to you, then it is worth considering. It was important to us, and we were happy that it was not overrun with guests, especially in the rooftop pool area. When our car service dropped us off around 10:00 p.m., there was no wait to check in. We walked straight to the front desk and got our room keys. The front desk staff were very friendly throughout our entire stay, and we appreciated that. When we checked in, I was a little surprised by the mandatory 45 dollar daily resort credit, called a destination fee, that was added to our bill each day. We were required to pay it, then spend it in the hotel at various locations, breakfast excluded. If we did not use the credit each day, it was lost. We felt this was an unnecessary burden, which limited our ability to support local businesses and reduced our options. Our room on the eighth floor was very spacious, and it had a living room, a bedroom, and a balcony with chairs. The room was great, but the thermostat had strict limits, so we were never able to adjust the air conditioning to our preferred temperature. It always felt warm in the room, which I assume was due to energy conservation controls. We had a partial ocean view, which was better than most partial views I have had at other hotels. The view was great for photos and videos, especially during sunset. You could also hear the waves crashing on the beach, even though the hotel is not located directly on the water. There are a lot of roosters roaming around the area near the property, so we got the unofficial 5:00 a.m. wake-up call from them. It was a little disruptive at first, but after a day or two, we were able to tune them out. I want to give a sincere shout out to the housekeeping service. It was outstanding. Every day, our housekeeper came before noon and left the room looking like we had just checked in. It was some of the best housekeeping I have experienced at a Marriott property, and it really added to our stay. We tipped well, because they truly deserved it. The rooftop pool was another highlight. It was usually busy, but never overwhelming. We went several times, and we always found a chair or a couch to relax on. The staff at the food and beverage counter were friendly and efficient, but there were no poolside servers. Most mornings, we ate breakfast at Sobao, which is located at the front of the hotel, and you enter from outside. The food was delicious, and the dining room was always full and lively. The service was great, but they have two different lines depending on what you want to order, which was a little confusing. Unfortunately, we did have one experience that was disappointing. On Thursday, April 30, we tried to have dinner at La Bodeguita, the main on site restaurant. It was 8:30 p.m., and even though there were open tables, we were told we had to sit at the bar. The bartender gave us water and menus, then never returned to take our order. We saw him waiting on tables, checking his phone, and standing around, but he never came back. We were dressed for fine dining, so we didn't understand what the issue was. After almost twenty minutes, we left and went up to the rooftop restaurant, Bar C Lona. It was crowded, and there was only one bartender serving everyone, but she was friendly and working hard. The food was great, and we were glad the evening turned around after the issue at La Bodeguita. Overall, we were incredibly happy with the location of the hotel, the room layout, the housekeeping, the front desk staff, the rooftop pool, and Sobao. We were less happy with the poor service at La Bodeguita, the mandatory destination fee, the rooster wake up calls, and the thermostat restrictions. We would not rule out another stay at the AC Hotel Condado, because the pros outweighed the cons, but next time we will probably try either the San Juan Marriott Resort or the Courtyard by Marriott Miramar, mainly for their direct beach access. This review is meant to provide honest feedback about our experience, both to help future guests and to highlight areas where the hotel could improve.

I get to the hotel, some new girl named Marselles said she couldn't see my purchase and without my knowledge charged a card on file for the reservation again (I didn't notice this until I went upstairs). I immediately return to the lobby because I noticed I was charged twice and ALSO the room they initially assigned me smelled of mold and was never cleaned (juice stains everywhere and random hair pieces in the sink.) when I complained about the smelled Marceles stated the smell was common throughout the island. When I spoke to her in Spanish and said "no the fuck it's not.". She quickly got quiet because she assumed I was a first time tourist or something. But also who says that? I asked to have a manager escort me to the new room so that we can observe the cleanliness together. The manager apologized. I then asked about the duplicate charge and she promised to refund the money and repeatedly apologized, offering that Marselles was new and still needed training. Okay, whatever. I was only staying for one night. It doesn't end there. The next morning at around 8am, the cleaner knocks on the door like she was police and asked about cleaning. I said it was too early and that my checkout was later on in the day. She had attitude. The worst part about this is that the cleaners were blasting music up and down the hallways and when I showed the manager the video, she seemed shocked. But everything was " we never do this. This is the first time"...whatever. They had a nice bar on the rooftop but it was blasting cold air on a rainy night. It felt like an icebox. Bartender nice. She made nice mint juleps but the "Jack Daniels" bottle was filled with a different type of whiskey because it did NOT taste the same. I promise you. They didn't even acknowledge or include my Marriott Bonvoy membership. Because of the chaotic mess, the manager said she would waive the incidental and hotel fees and guess what, I was still charged that. I called Marriott so quickly and filed a report. Worst Marriott stay ever. Now I have to go through corporate to get a refund by sending emails and waiting on investigation to start. The room for one night was over $500. They charged me twice resulting in over $1000 for a hot mess of a stay.
