We tried coming back for dinner, waiting a bit for its door to open. The owner told us they were quite full, but managed to squeeze us in at a small table near the restroom. The owner is really nice, checking on us throughout the meal, apologizing for not giving us better seats, while we were thankful enough to have a table! After all, this place is the #1 restaurant in Estremoz on other review sites with solid 5 stars, they can totally act snobby with two tourists who weren't even ordering fancy dishes, but the owner was still super friendly like we were old regulars. As expected, the food was delicious. Having read other reviews, we knew the portions are huge, so we ordered the half portions, which still came out more than what we could finish. The secretos pork fillet was so delicious, and the seafood rice was loaded with ingredients too. We so wish our stay in Estremoz was longer so we could be back for more.

It uses identical chunks of pork. Migas is vry traditional dish of the area, looks a little like mashed potato, and I suppose in the old days a great way to upcycle old bread into a delicious side.
