The ambiance is killer, awesome service, extremely attentive. And the food... I had the Veal saltimbocca - it was perfectly cooked and delicious! Great way to start a vacation!

Pasta Bolognese

The food was quite good. I tried the pasta bolognese and a pizza. The service was also excellent.

Ravioli with dried tomatoes, pine nuts, olives, fresh mint tea! Delicious!

I was looking for nice food in a nice place after 10pm which was hard, many restaurants in Amsterdam close their kitchen before or at 10pm, only fast food or pubs/sport bars were open, and I'm not a fan of this sort of food. So I yelped and decided to go to Casa Di Sergio and I was not disappointed! Nice place, big meanie with a lot of options of pasta, lasagna and ravioli and other Italian specialties! I ordered ravioli a la Rossa and fresh mint tea. Service was great, waiters were friendly and singing songs! Amazing! Food was delicious! The place it self is cozy and relaxing, it's heaters outside so you can seat without freezing at spring night! Thank you, guys, you saved my evening!

So delicious! My husband and I stumbled upon this place while walking around Amsterdam. So glad we did! I ordered a glass of Chardonnay and the Pesto Penne and he ordered a pepperoni pizza with a large Heineken. The service was very fast and the waiter was kind and attentive. We snagged a patio seat and enjoyed the weather. The atmosphere is fun because it's a busy street where you can people watch. The food came out very quickly. The penne portion was large and I almost ate the entire dish because it was so good. The pizza was very fresh and cheesy. I would definitely recommend if you're in the mood for Italian!

The tortellini al forno were very good and so too was their tiramisu, which was incredible. I found this place by stumbling around Leidesplein and entered because it was open past 10. I stumbled upon a good Italian restaurant.

Bolognese stuffed tortellini shells, herbed butter bread basket, Cabernet Sauvignon.

Friendly staff. The type of meal that feeds the soul after a long day of travel! I'm so happy I wandered into this place. The Cabernet Sauvignon Was the perfect pairing with my bolognese- stuffed tortellini shells, delisioso!

Pizza was surprisingly good. Everything was mediocre. I think pizza is the safest thing here. Good late night spot as well.

Another very nice Italian place in the little Italy street from Amsterdam…read more Don't expect pizza's here though this is a real kitchen! This very small Italian is always packed. In the open kitchen you can see (and hear!) the chef work his magic. The bread, the starters, the fresh home made pasta's and the secondi's are all amazing. They import a lot from Italy themselves, and you can even but a bottle of olive oil here. The place is full of ferrari signs, foto's of Sophia Loren, etc. It feels like a second home. Great for a nice romantich night out or a double date, maybe not so good if you go with more then 4 people, as the place is very small. Expect to spend about 115 euro for 2 persons incl a bottle of wine. Make sure you reserve a table!

On the outside it doesn't look all too fancy. Inside, the tables are closely arranged; making getting up from your table quite a challenge at times. However the waitress was friendly, and the atmosphere cosy. I had the truffle tagliatelle, which tasted excellent, but sadly wasn't cooked properly; it stuck together. Same goes for the pasta with sausage we had. Maybe the secondi taste better, but I'm not prone to go check them out after this experience. All in all, good service, but for the pricing they might pay a little more attention to the food.
