He was immediately answering our calls/texts & showing up in person to check progress. David even delivered doors, lights & extras. I cannot praise David & the Mighty Dog team enough for the quality & care of the the craftsmanship done on our home. David made sure to take care of every detail I requested down to small details like new house numbers, kick plates & slide locks on new doors. Of course the team handled special requests like tempered glass security storm doors, new entry doors, new handles & locks. Our 38 year old windows were replaced with modern windows. The craftsman did an excellent drywall job preparing for the crew to put up new trim around inside windows. Turned out great. Old water & termite damage was uncovered when removing original wood siding from 1989. The crew repaired, insulated & wrapped my home & hung new siding. All house trim & facia was replaced on porch. My house was estimated to take 4 months (for a full home remodel). It took 10 months and still looks like crap. On top of that, he left it vacant for so long, it was broken into twice. He had to be reminded on MULTIPLE occasions of how the house was supposed to look even though he had the plans from day one. He never comes to check the job site which left my husband (who works full time) to have to deal with all the sub contractors he hired, but then get angry because "he's supposed to be in charge ". He has horrible communication and threw a complete fit when we withheld money from him because of many things that we had asked to be fixed on several occasions were still not fixed months later. After that he wouldn't even speak to my husband and his "business partner " is who we had to communicate with even though we had met the guy once. He left wood that was replaced for my fireplace exposed to rainy elements for 3 months and then tried to tell us it was our roof, it wasn't. We have gaps in between our flooring and baseboards, no caulking was done anywhere and as house expands you can see all the cracking. You see a screw in our ceiling, ceiling looks completely unfinished. Thats just the start of it. We find stuff DAILY that we have to spend money on and fix ourselves. He robs Peter to pay Paul so please don't expect your money to go to your project. It will go to the person he still owes money to from his last job, hence why our house took months longer to finish. Then he will put a false lien on your house for money he claims he is owed for materials, even though we paid for the materials ourselves. He also picked out our cabinets, cabinets color, hardware and countertops without us present. We had to go and change everything he did which to this day he denies but cabinet people told us he did. After he received his final deposit from our bank, yes this was a remodel loan from a bank so they keep track of every dime spent, we received threatening emails and texts that we messed with the wrong person and he will make us pay. This man is a crook and I will not stop until he doesn't hold a license any longer so he can't do this to anyone else. Even his foreman hates him, our security system we had put in shows him talking bad about Roland and this what always happens. Customers get upset and then they have to rush to try and finish things. So this is not a one time occurrence. Keep your distance

Hubs called and made an appointment for people to come check the damage. Two men came by at the appointed time. Both were knowledgeable and checked the whole house out. A couple of weeks later they returned with the matching color vinyl siding and extra pieces. It turns out when they inspected the house they saw a few pieces that needed to be replaced. They were outside working over two hours to replace pieces and repairing the spot where a piece of siding came off. The total cost to us was the one time service call. We are very happy with the customer service and the work provided by Champion. They exceeded our expectations.

When I requested a new screen, it came apart from the frame, Champion tried to charge a service fee of $100. so I contacted the original salesman, who no longer worked for Champion and he called the local and regional Champion office telling them NOT to add a service fee because he had waived any and all fees! Champion repaired the screen at no charge to me. Recently I requested service again because of a leaking window and (again) bad screen. This time they want to charge me a $130. service fee and refuse to honor the agreement I was sold - LIFETIME FREE PARTS REPLACEMENT! Champion said my original salesman no longer works there so they won't honor the agreement! He didn't work there last time either, Champion is looking for excuses to not honor their agreement! I have not repaired the screen nor window - going to write their CEO! The woman at the Portland office has a bad attitude and that was also the case with one in Georgia! I can also involve my original salesman. Unethical company!
