I don't do 5 stars or 1 star reviews based on friendships, free items or any other reasons. Being I'm a good sport, I am here on a second visit against my choice. My 1st visit 2 weeks ago was going to be my last. We arrived at 5pm and only a few other couples were here. The place started filling up around 5:30pm so keep that in mind. I ordered steak quesadillas with a mango margarita. Our waitresses were friendly and checked on us regularly. The restaurant was clean, ample seating with a fun music vibe. My quesadilla was a bit salty but I still enjoyed my dinner. Chefs often use a bit of extra salt to wake up flavor profiles. My husband enjoyed his enchiladas w/beans and rice and a coke 0. When we got home we got to thinking why our bill was $62.24. I called and spoke with the mgr, he pulled our ticket# up and noticed our waitress added a $12.00 item onto our ticket when it should have been on our friend's ticket and he apologized for her mistake. $50.24 should have been our total. Apology accepted and we left it at that. Please check your tickets before giving your card to be ran at any restaurant. I struggled with giving 3 or 4 stars so you can see my choice above.

They also have home made natural lime juice, horchata, hibiscus and watermelon. Also Mexican bottle cokes. This place is small. Only has two tables inside. Has seats for you to wait for your order. My nachos were loaded and really good. Nice chunks of avocado, tomato, onion, jalapeño and more. His burger was really good although his fries were not that good, kinda soft. The main dinning area has plenty of seating and also an outdoor patio area with lots of tables. The patio are was cooler and not as warm as the main dinning area. A far overdue visit! Heard so many good things about this place and it's legit Mexican American…read moremenu. The steak bites always come up when people talk about this place. Now I can see why that is. My wife and I came in on a Wednesday night about 530 for the first time. It was not super busy at all and we got seated fast. Orders were taken quickly as well. I got the famous original steak bites with a choice side salad. Wife got the daily special Guiso plate with refried beans and Mexican rice and homemade flour tortillas. The meal also came with a complementary plate of refried beans and red and green salsa (with a kick) and chips. It didn't take long for the plates to come out and my were the portions generous! My steak tips were fantastic. A perfect medium and very well seasoned! Melt in your mouth tender! My wife thoroughly enjoyed her Guiso and the super tender diced beef in a rich brown gravy. Laura the GM was very kind to us and gave us a little background on the business with it being our first time there. 16 years in business! I see why that's so!
