I'm not sure why this location doesn't have more reviews, but I generally love every time I go for a session. I've only attended class with two lageee instructors Amaris and Marilyn. I love both of thier energies and pacing, I just feel like Amaris' flow is better suited for me as a beginner. Marilyn is super cute with her themed days of Pitbull and Britney Spears. I've tried all three yoga classes with three different instructors. Gentle yoga with Madi is perfect for after my 12hr shifts to relax and rest for the night. Vinyasa with Angelia was easy to follow but more of a light sculpt class with the pacing and movement. And the newest yoga sculpt with Alex is super fast paced but still easy on the joints and definitely more of a work out compared to the other yoga types. All yoga is in the heated room. I genuinely feel stronger overall but every session is a welcomed challenge. I love that all instructors provide modified options and give feedback/tactile direction if needed. I'm only on week 3 of taking classes and already feel stronger, focused, and challenged. Lagree is difficult, but I love the intention behind it and the instructors at this studio are amazing. Patty was direct and provided repeated cues with corrections along the way. Jane is the most energetic and friendly! She's so super good at putting together a flow of exercises, getting to know you, answering questions, and knows when to add variations when the class needs it. Heated Yoga with Alex has been everything I've been looking for. Super welcoming, friendly, and an awesome choice of yoga flow movements. It's helped me so much. Tried lagree for the first time on a Sunday with my friend, who goes here a couple times each week. Wendy, the instructor for the noon class I attended, was excellent and provided easy instructions for all including newcomers like me. Since it's a high-intensity, low-impact full-body workout, you will be sore after, especially the next day. There were easy to moderate to challenging stretches and exercises. I felt sore everywhere the following day, but it was a good soreness if that makes sense from stretching and tightening the muscles everywhere from the Lagree exercises. Would totally return for another class! They have different pricing tiers for monthly class commitments and can also pay per class. I would probably pay per class, since I already actively use my annual gym membership. Lagree is just an occasional workout activity for me. FYI: I don't know if this is the norm for all lagree studios, but they don't have specific classes for beginner or experienced level. It's all mixed experience levels in every class. read more

I'm honestly obsessed. I've taken classes with almost all of the instructors and every single one of them is so good. They really push you to do your best, and I always leave feeling like I got everything I needed and more (and usually very sore in the best way). Over the time I've been coming here, they've added so much to the studio and expanded the schedule with more class times, which has been amazing. You can tell how much they care about the space and the community they're building. Definitely check it out. read more

I did not want to post a review because I want to gatekeep lol After reading a couple of the low star reviews, I just felt inclined to post my own experience. I have gone to 3 Yoga Sculpt classes from Alex & I have absolutely loved them!! I GPSed the location my first time so it wasn't too hard to find and parking can be a bit tough to swiftly find nearby but it's so worth going! The 3-5 min late arrival policy/fee is standard anywhere else. Although it can be frustrating if late, really commit to your time slot & if it's your first time, give yourself ample time to arrive on time as you will not regret it. The staff is always friendly, it's such a great aesthetically pleasing studio & instructors have a great vibe that gets you excited for your workout. This time is for you and you only... make it a priority. I'm a late queen also but not with my Pilates! lol read more

I seriously can't say enough good things about Casa Lagree. The workouts are so challenging (in the best way), and I've already noticed a difference in my body. It's been hard getting back into a routine, but this place made me fall in love with working out again. I even left my gym membership to come here full-time, that's how much I love it.  The studio is always super clean and smells amazing, and the clothes and grip socks they sell are the cutest. What really makes Casa Lagree special though is the community, everyone is so friendly and the staff is incredibly welcoming. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great workout and a positive, supportive space. read more

I've been doing Lagree for a year and a half now and really enjoy my classes here since they opened. All the instructors (Norely, Nicolette, Jane) I've taken classes with are great at teaching and genuinely warm people, you can tell they care. I drive 20ish minutes to get to Casa Lagree vs going to a studio nearby as I prefer the atmosphere and instructors here. Lagree has also replaced my other workout modalities (reformer pilates, barre) as I've found it the most helpful for maintaining my core strength and I feel like get the most out of it. It's a difficult workout, but you don't need to be fit to start - everyone starts somewhere and fitness levels in the class vary from person to person. That being said - expect to try hard (no matter how fit you may be!) Instructors offer modifications for different levels of difficulty. The classes are also consistently challenging throughout and no one instructor is significantly "easier" or "harder" than others, which is great as you know you'll get a good workout in no matter who's teaching. Also really appreciate the 615 AM classes for those of us who have work early. Wouldn't be able to get my workouts in otherwise. Decor is Scandinavian chic, warmly lit with pleasant lighting - nothing blinding on the ceiling. Plenty of parking space behind the building (follow the sign). There's a back room with a bathroom, water station etc all the nice amenities jazz. I have heard there may be plans for future yoga classes here and I'm excited. Will update if I happen to check out their yoga offerings. Like every other Lagree studio, they have a late policy where the door is locked after a certain # of minutes for safety reasons. if you're new to the studio or Lagree, definitely arrive early. read more

I took a yoga class with Angelia and loved it! One of the first things I noticed was her playlist - it honestly felt like I was listening to my own music. She definitely has great taste, and good music always makes a class even better. I also really liked her teaching style. Think twice before coming here. If you cannot arrive on time, don't even try to go because they will not let you enter if you are late. They tell you it's a safety reason but I'm not sure. You do need to know how to operate the machine in order to do the workout so I can see it from that perspective. However, I asked to just watch the workout because my friend was in the workout and they would not let me. Again, I had heard great things about this type of workout, but I would think twice before coming here because if you just happen to be running late, they will not let you in. In fact, they locked the door so you can't even go in. I'm not sure what kind of business they're running. In addition, don't bother about calling them to ask any questions. I love that there's a lagree spot in Whittier, since it helps me get a good burn that I feel in my muscles! Makes me feel/ look stronger. Very hard to find! Left to get there early and ended up being 5 mins late because I couldn't find it since there is no sign out front. THEN they didn't let me in to my class since I had never been there before, even though I paid for the class and had done Lagree before. And on top of that they charged me a no show fee for not going to the class even after they mentioned they would wave the fee since it was my first time. read more

Casa Lagree is new in the Whittier community, loads of parking is available in the front. I feel like they had a lot of potential to be a great studio. However I had an unpleasant experience for my first class. Found via instagram, I viewed the highlighted stories. As requested: "please arrive 10-15 minutes before class starts as we are required to show you the megaformer's operations & confirm your liability form." As well as some harsh guidelines provided by the owner: "we will lock the door on you if you are late for your first class". I booked the 6:15am class for a Wednesday one week in advance using their discounted first time price. I like booking with the owner for a personalized look into class layouts and values. Without notice, instructor changes were made a day prior. Cool, whatever. I made sure to be awake extra early to not be booted out of class like those Instagram highlights claimed. Parked and ready to go by 5:55am. I notice a group of attendees across the street ready to go as well, but still no sign of the instructor. By the minute someone in charge arrives, however no doors are being opened. The instructor claimed to not have a key to the studio yet.... Okay...now five of us in the cold waiting for the sixth to rescue us. 6:.01am It went as far as to calling management for a code to the lock. Gate was stuck. Receptionist running late. 6:03am With only 10 minutes left until class started, the doors were open. I was never greeted properly by teacher nor front desk. Everyone else seemed routined to the place so I followed along. The instructor was kind during her class. However, the required demonstration of the machine was never given to me. 98% of the class was me glancing at those next me to follow along with the workout. Come to find out, the instructor was aware I was a newbie. I got a shout out at the very end... it felt a little disrespectful...knowing I'd be struggling with equipment new to me and still made sure to let everyone else in the room know. Also failed to ask for proper pronunciation of my name before using it publicly. The class description stated all levels. "Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced" I recommend actually following through with strict policies and practicing punctuality for an expensive studio. read more
