Just took an intro Pilates class here this morning with Aaliyah and loved it! If you're new to reformer Pilates or want a class that's more focused on form and stretch, this is for you. They do fill up the entire class so the instructor isn't demonstrating how to do the moves, but she does walk around and correct form/help you transition. I appreciated this class was so much more focused on making sure you nail the basics because too many trendy studios try to "push" students do harder moves than their core is ready for. I already weight lift so I like Pilates to help me recover and practice good form (especially because I'm prone to not engage my core enough when I lift!). I'm sure their non beginner class is more challenging, but this was a perfect, restorative Saturday morning work out. I also liked the intro course because there were students from all age groups and no pretentious vibe that I've had at other studios where students judge if you're in aesthetic clothes or not (people ranged from cute fits to comfy gym clothes so you can totally do both here). Looking forward to coming back whenever I need a good recovery stretch and to perfect my core strength! read more

I like their Reformer classes that uses the machines like Pilates. It is difficult if you haven't done Pilates but the instructor tells how the correct form. It really engages the whole body and working one muscle group. For Reformer: bring grip socks or else you'll have to buy it from the studio. I also took a yoga class. You can grab 2 yoga mats to make it more cushioned. The class itself was ok, I'm new to yoga so some of the exercises were hard esp holding the position with your abs. For Yoga: don't need to bring anything . They provide yoga mats What kept bothering me was the amount of ants on the ground near where I was. It was super bothersome. I couldn't even concentrate on the class. Even though I killed some ants, there were still more crawling on my mat and around my area. I told the instructor who said she'll let the owner know. I hope the owner cleans the studio. Parking is around the building and free parking. The location of the entrance of the building is on the street side so you'll have to walk to the street side to enter the place. read more

This is my favorite Pilates studio. It's right down the street from my old high school. The equipment is always clean. My instructor Beth is great! I had her 2 times as an instructor. The ambiance is peaceful and zen. I like that the lights are dim. It's a vibe. Rosalinda is also super nice! I encourage you to take one of the classes they offer. My favorite class is the reformer Pilates class. What are you waiting for? Health is wealth! read more

This studio has so much to offer! From Pilates on a reformer or Matt, Yoga. Or massage therapy. They have group classes and one on one classes. The instructors are top notch that all bring a different element to keep you engaged in class. The studio is so beautiful and comfortable at the same time. My 21 yrs. old daughter recommended this place to me. She told me that the Pilates Reformer class would be a fun way to get back into exercising. I thought about it and went about life. Then, I started to see how much leaner and fit my daughter's body started to transform. She had only been in this class for about 3 weeks and I could see the difference. Her waist line got smaller and her stomach was flatter and there was now a 4 pack instead of 2! She's a college athlete so honestly, she was slightly husky. Now, she is looking more leaner like a ballerina. She was going at least 3-4 times a week. I decided to try it. Oh my gawd, it was so frickin' hard! Ballerina, THIS! Now, you have to understand that I have not worked out for at least 15 years! It was tough! But..it was FUN! It was like I was a trapeze artist laying on a table making my arms and legs move in different directions. I was hooked! I have been going for about 3 months now and I have gone from XLG to L in shirts and my pants are looser. My butt is more perkier, too!! I used to wear loose sweat pants to workout but now, I feel more confident wearing tights. The instructors are super nice and very helpful. They don't make you feel bad when your arms or legs are doing something different than the whole class. I have done that several times. My favorite instructors are Aaliyah and Beth. I don't know but I just feel comfortable and get a great workout from these two gals. It was hard finding the place the first time so make sure you get there 30 minutes before class so you're not late. The front entrance door faces Palm street. The studio is super clean so I don't understand the review of someone getting flea bites because that's never happened to me or my daughter. We have been coming here for months. I would recommend this studio. I came for a trial reformer class and Aaliyah was very kind and clear in her directions. She also instructed breathwork and offered spring modifications. Rosalind was there when I arrived but I didn't get to chat as class was starting. I always appreciate meeting the owners. The class itself was too easy for me as I'm used to Lagree style. I attended the Reformer Foundations class with Aaliyah as the instructor, and it was a fantastic foundations class getting used to the reformer. The class size was 7 people, which is very ideal in order for the instructor to help the students with proper form, placement, and cater to the student's individual needs. Aaliyah was very helpful to me and led a great class! I experienced a refreshing work out that also challenged my body in a positive way. The studio is very clean and well-kept. Towards the end of class, the instructor hands out individual cleaning wipes to sanitize the equipments used. I highly recommend this studio and to anyone interested in doing Pilates. read more

I came here for the free intro group class with Rosalinda and loved it! I've done reformer pilates for 1.5 years and have checked out a lot of studios over the years and I feel like that this one will make it to the top of my list. I've recently started going to this pilates studio and have had an amazing experience so far. I started with a private reformer pilates session with Rosalinda, and have done a couple group reformer classes since then. The classes are done at a very reasonable pace, and I say that as a brand new beginner :). I'm finding I love pilates because I don't feel exhausted after a class, but definitely "feel it" the next day, which tells me the classes really do something for me. I've also tried a yoga class here with Tami Roth on a Sunday. It was great! I've been to Corepower yoga classes before and those vinyasa classes more fast paced and cardio-like. This one was a little slower paced, and we still did alot of different positions and got good stretches in. She also provided alot of props like a stretching band, blocks, and a blanket to help us with different positions. The prices here are very reasonable :) read more

I love Aspire! I have been doing yoga here now for about a year and the classes are really great. They are so great, I wish they had more of them! I regularly take both Corinne and Tina's classes and both instructors are amazing. They both provide a great workout and always offer different variations on poses and take great pride in helping students with proper form to help avoid injuries. The studio is clean, relaxing, and offers blocks, bolsters, blankets, and straps for students which I really appreciate. I purchased the 90-minute massage on Groupon and booked my appointment for a couple of days later. My masseuse was Jessica. My experience from beginning to end was great. Jessica had great hands and really worked on back. My one qualm is that the massage room is connected to the studio so you can overhear any noise or talk that is going on there. I stumbled on Aspire Wellness Studio through La Habra Recreation and I am SO glad I did! A few coworkers and I actually signed up for classes at a nearby studio for a previous month and we thought those classes were pretty good. HOWEVER, after going to one Pilates Mat class with Tami this month, we realized just how much we were missing by not going to Aspire! Tami takes the time to go from person to person throughout the class to make sure that your postures are correct and that you are getting the FULL benefit of each exercise. I could feel the (good) soreness almost immediately!! The studio itself is clean, welcoming and has an all around calming feeling. I especially love the floor to ceiling mirrors that allow you to see if you're doing the exercises correctly. It also doesn't hurt that they have two available restrooms for clients. If you're looking for a studio that's convenient, knowledgeable, and well-priced, I would definitely recommend Aspire Wellness. I took my first class today and it was supposed to be a Pilates mat class but because it was a small group we were able to use the reformers. I was super scared and nervous because it was my first time doing Pilates. I've always heard great things, so I decided to give it a try. Luckily, I stumbled upon the groupon that they have which is a month of unlimited yoga and Pilates mat classes. So I quickly called, and the lady that answered the phone was so kind and very informative. Now Back to the actual class. It was absolutely amazing! Lisa was the instructor and she was so kind and gave everyone attention. She was quick to correct your forms with every new movement. It was a great class, and I will definitely be sore tomorrow. I was searching on yelp for a good pilates place in la habra and came across this studio! I'm so happy that I did!! I received a private pilates session with Rosalinda. She was awesome! Since it was my first time with pilates she walked me step by step through it. I have been suffering from neck and back pain and this one session relieved a lot of tension on both my neck and back. Amazing Pilates instructors.. Tami, Rosa, Augie, Michelle... They are all wonderful. They show you how all the exercises can be modified to accommodate certain injuries or issues, like lower back pain. I started going last summer and I love it. It has made a huge difference in my lower back issues which have vastly improved. It's clean, too, which is a biggie for me because I'm an admitted germophobe! Dr. Lukens has been highly recommended by a friend for some time but we all think we have the best (fill in the blank) so I just brushed it off until last week when I injured my back and couldn't move without pain. I called in for an appointment and was treated very warmly right from the get go. I practically limped into the scheduled appointment and Dr. Lukens can see right away I needed help. Her no nonsense, direct treatment was exactly what I needed. There is no exaggeration when I say I can leap and jump out of that place after Dr. Lukens worked on me just one time. She was AWESOME! Very personable and listens to your needs. I asked if I need to return for a follow up visit and she said "I am not that kind of doctor, if you want me to take your money I will but there's no need." LOVE LOVE the honesty! I have since recommended several people to her, my mom in law was one with debilitating back pain that came on quickly within a week, she has a chiropractor but after I mention what Dr. Lukens did with me, she decided to go and in 2 visits, she was a completely different person.
